It’s 9 stories at its lowest roof and steps up to 13 on the north side so the side closest to the distillery should top out shortly.

Would it be realistic to move the heritage building to the corner of queens quay and lower Spadina with a new tower located closer to the gardiner? Could potentially become a retail / cultural pavilion.

Though it seems unlikely, it would be nice to see some sort of cultural use here. Maybe the National Ballet can expand from their space in Kings Landing? I can’t see the Francophone building remaining - it’s old but not really a valuable heritage asset, and it’s awkwardly sited.

Simplified tower massing and heritage retention are good but oh my god this is so ugly… gone is the colour and in are 4 different monochromatic and busy different facade treatments that read as an AI render gone wrong. Praying this is vended to another developer and is redesigned.

I would imagine a large number of Mac employees do not live in Hamilton proper and wouldn’t benefit from an HSR pass. Doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be available to those that do live in the city, but my guess is folks commute in to mac from all over the region in addition to Hamilton.

I'm not sure about that one lol If you look closely edges of the slab on the upper pixelated bits, you can see the curtain wall anchors cast into the concrete where the panels will eventually be mounted to I am pretty sure the horizontal metal thing that's being installed to the left is...
