The fins over some of the windows on the second floor don’t seem to appear in any of the plans or renders for this… weird! I wonder why they are only on the one floor and not the others.

Kind of crummy photos, but a dental office, Japanese hair salon, jewellery store and a Starbucks are set to open here. Also looks like plaza may be using the far corner unit as a sales centre but I didn’t get a closer look.

The city has to at least understand that there isn’t really a market for brand new class A office towers right now, even with the transit station coming… right? I just can’t see CF building any of the office buildings on spec. Surely they can reserve some space for office and flip the rest to...

I have a feeling this will end up being more of a residential hub vs an office hub.

I think once some of the projects surrounding this get going, it will make a big difference re: making it feel a bit less like an island and give folks more of a reason to pass through the complex vs around it. 400 Front will bridge the gap to the east, 46 Spadina to the north, 467, 485...

Happy to see the tower massing has been simplified, but I’m worried we’re going to get another steely blue aA balcony tower in a cluster with too many steely blue balcony towers.

I don't really mind. I'm sure it will get a wash before construction is completed. The same brick will also be used on the new facade to the south of the heritage building, so it should look a bit more continuous. While I think they definitely could have sourced something a bit more orange, this...
