    Toronto Living Shangri-La Toronto | 214.57m | 66s | Westbank | James Cheng

That reminds me of the guy who was quoted 0.002 cents/kb by Verizon while on his trip to Canada. http://verizonmath.blogspot.com/2007/08/original-recording-of-verizon-customer.html

Roads: Keep the Gardiner, fix it, or get rid of it? (2005-2014)

This idea is absolutely ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned, covering up a giant turd with flowers still makes it a giant turd (albeit a deceitful one.) Toronto needs to bury the Gardiner, and cover up the rail corridor while they're at it.

    The world's most liveable cities—Toronto #15, Vancouver #4

These cities are also very expensive to live in, which I imagine hurt their overall score significantly. Employment opportunity and crime would be others.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Ignatieff is expected to make a decision this week on whether he should bring down the Conservative government with a non-confidence vote and force a summer election. Given what you just said, forcing an election right now would be wise for Ignatieff and the liberals.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I hate John Baird. I hated him when he was the Environment Minister, and now as the Transport Minister. He is an incompetent fool. I hope there is an election again this summer/autumn. Here is one of my favourite videos of Baird as Environment Minister...

    Submission 16: O.R.E. - "The Braided Strands"

Without a doubt the most stunning bridge submitted by far. Absolutely love it.

    Montréal Transit Developments

According to the TTC, Toronto's average daily ridership for all it's subway lines is roughly 1 246 020, not 864 000. http://www3.ttc.ca/PDF/Transit_Planning/subway_ridership_2007-2008.pdf

    Toronto Maple Leaf Square | 185.92m | 54s | Lanterra | KPMB

Look at that sea of condos; it reminds me of an Asian city. Sometimes I'm glad we're not Vancouver.

Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

Those shots are beautiful grey. I just imagine seeing Trump in them and I get a sense of a true global city.

    Waterfront: West Don Lands (DTAH)

It looks like the Athlete's village for the 2015 Pan-Am games will be located in the west don lands, ensuring that the site will be redeveloped by 2015. Assuming, of course, that Toronto is awarded the games. http://www.toronto2015.org/en/2009/4/26/pan-american-games-village-to-be-located

Toronto: One Of The Top Ten Most Photographed Cities In The World

This was featured on www.digg.com earlier today, I thought it was pretty neat. Life.com took the statistics of the number of tags related to cities around the world on flickr and composed a top ten list. http://www.life.com/image/dv676066/in-gallery/26111/the-ten-most-photographed-cities...

    Toronto Maple Leaf Square | 185.92m | 54s | Lanterra | KPMB

When people say it's a barrier, they don't mean it physically prevents someone from getting to the waterfront. The waterfront should be welcomed and integrated with the city, and the Gardiner prevents this integration by forcing people to walk underneath a crumbling, loud, and ugly highway. The...

    Toronto Telus House - 25 York Street | 136.24m | 30s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

Well it's either purple, or that bright lime green Telus also uses. Personally, I'd go for the purple.

    Toronto Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Toronto | 203.9m | 52s | Lifetime | a—A

That is a fantastic viewpoint!! You should take pictures from that point once every month or so and make a time-lapse. Also, does that building in front of the construction site have a parking lot on it's roof?

    Western Waterfront Master Plan

The only problem I see with a bridge going across Humber Bay is that it only saves roughly 500m-1km off your trip. However, it would be nice to have a San Fran style bridge going across for that iconic value.
