It absolutely IS accurate. The city proper grew less than 1% (about 0.8%) from 2001-2006. Whoever told you it wasn't an accurate statement was lying to you.

Are there any plans to develop the large parking lot across the street. It extends all the way to the next street south. The funny thing is, at both ends of the parking lot are pleasant iron-looking gates that say "walkway", but they just lead into the parking lot itself :rolleyes:

I can't believe this is making news. When I was a kid in Mississauga a petition by neighbourhood residents had a MT route re-routed so it no longer went down a couple streets and I don't remember it making news. It wasn't the end of the world either. It just meant we had to, god-forbid, walk...
