    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

I hope so, these violators need to be prosecuted. Just saw a someone run a red in the worst fashion this afternoon. There is a right turn signal at Davenport/Avenue with a queue lane for west to north movement allowing protected priority for cyclist. Not only did this idiot turn right on that...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

There's nothing much the city can do if immigration keeps growing in the region. Since the government isn't restricting people coming to the GTA, finance stepped in to do the job. Eventually the lowest income figures out they can't live here and move to another city. Affordable housing isn't...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Every business person wants to make their bang in the buck, not do a one time contribution to society. They are waiting for the right time. Business persons are almost never lefties.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

I really don't think move the trucks onto the 407 would be sustainable. The government would have to subsidize the toll charges and 407ETR would be charging a pretty penny. They have every rights to say trucks are damaging their roadways and slowing down traffic causing them to lose revenue...

    Streetcar Tracks on Adelaide

Everyone squeezing through at Yonge is the worst.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I don't know what the problem is. Do people want more taxplayer's money spent on wages to open up aesthetic cages under an overhead wire (and hopefully not electrocute themselves) so the streetcars can look pretty from a condo or for them to just get to work on what they need. The only reason...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Ford used a bully tactic which worked in his and our favour. Instead of getting the feds to agree on the funds first (which could take ages), he went on to announcing it with the hopes the feds will chip in. Then it'll make the feds look bad if they don't care. Of course these projects are all...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

If a car ended up in those water, they will be scrapped. I always predicted those streetcars to be write offs and it seem to be increasing true now.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

We don't know how long is the hold. He stole the phone and could be playing dumb for hours. Cops have things to do and are pretty impatient when you don't comply. If the cops rushed the situation within 5 min, someone should get fired. If this took 15+ min and isn't getting resolved, it's a...

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

And put the economic into deep recession? The feds will definitely step in if it gets serious enough to cripple the country. Half the population will likely lose their job without highways as it become prohibitively expensive to get their raw supplies. You'll see pricing on goods approach...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Sorry to nitpick, PPHPD stands for Passengers Per Hour PER DIRECTION. The capacity is 15,000 pphpd meaning 30,000 people can pass through a single point.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

It seems like the fence is there for maintenance workers and emergency evacuation passengers to not fall onto the roadway if they had to walk beside the track.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Correction: make uber/taxi earn money easier while flooding the streets on Saturday night making streetcars slowly crawl through. Typical drivers aren't the one taking advantage.

So it's a free pass when they aren't even carrying any passenger.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Ridesshare vehicles are not taxis. They are illegally crossing those lights like all the other non taxi vehicles. They should just setup a camera like those red light cameras, capture everything and mail out tickets to all violators.

TTC: Electric and alternative fuel buses

Alexander Dennis is owned by New Flyer these days. Their single deck buses will never hit the North American market. The bus market is so volatile, it's very difficult for new players to join. It would be ideal if everyone bought in small batches but everyone wants to make large batch orders...

    TTC: Jane (LRT) RapidTO

I don't even think it's possible. TTC/ML and the contractor will get into a big fight on who owns what asset, who does the maintenance, who pays for the maintenance, who pays for the track wear and tear and who pays for the storage. If a TTC owned streetcar gets damaged, who's fault is it? This...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I question if they will build any bus terminals (or loops). Service on the 35 is much higher north of Eglinton which would lead to TTC wanting to short turn them at the LRT if possible. We could probably see major bus network changes when Crosstown West opens up. Central Etobicoke could see...
