    Barbara Hall Park revitalization

Hot take: The 519 should have a permanent bar at its building's back end (as it does during Pride) and the area around the fountains should be licensed. Parents can drink as their kids play. More "eyes on the park" too.

    Toronto Media Landscape and Personalities

I've never really understood why Global didn't move to Corus Quay instead of maintaining their somewhat dumpy Don Mills location. Maybe now is the time!

    2024 United States presidential election

Harris/Buttigieg may be it! Also, keeping Harris on the ticket allows them to use the same money raised for Biden/Harris.

Green Party of Canada: Leadership Race

In an FPTP system, I don't see the point of this party. Especially, with all their public troubles. Just fold it into the Liberals (or less possibly the NDP).

West Queen West / A&D District

Sounds like a question for @Northern Light.

West Queen West / A&D District

I wish all these neighbourhoods would just 'Kensington Market-ize' personally.

    Hudson's Bay Company

There's really nothing here for Canada. In fact, it will be spun into a separate division. Sak's will likely still leave the market, NM won't enter it, and Hudson's Bay will continue it's slow whither to death.

    Keir Starmers' United Kingdom

I think we did, but I can also see value in keeping it as one.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I believe it is largely being done to connect Queen's Quay to Cherry.

    Hosting a summer Olympic games

Also, streamers will be coming for those rights too, as they already are with the NFL, NHL, MLB, etc.

    GO Transit: Corridor Studies

It feels a bit Australian to me. As I said on Twitter, we get a similar thing with the Ontario Line (arguably better with more Line 1 relief). I'd stiil love to see some of this reduced reliance via Union still done, but up at North Toronto and shoulder stations east-west of Union.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I'd say a bridge over the Eastern Gap is possible, despite the many reasons people say it isn't. But, I think it would mostly be for cyclists. The Western Gap will likely have a tunnel to Hanlans should YTZ ever close (which I'd give it a 50% chance of doing). But we'd still need the ferries to...

    Ontario Science Centre

Woodbine Centre can be the temporary home of both Queen's Park and the OSC!

    Toronto Fairview Mall Redevelopment Phase 1 | 180.2m | 52s | Cadillac Fairview | Hariri Pontarini

That connection has always been hokey, even with recent "improvements." I can't blame the staff for demanding better here.

    Keir Starmers' United Kingdom

Although, most projections have the SNP losing about 60% of their current seats to Labour.

299 Queen Street West (Bell Media Studios)

Also the CHUM sign if more verticals end-up being Agincourt bound.

Alexander The Great Parkette Revitalization (Greektown BIA, FFLA)

We could rename Greektown "Hellenic Kitchen." 😁

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

While a faint hope, I still like the possibility of a station being added across the Don from East Harbour too.

    Hudson's Bay Company

I was in the flagship the other day and most escalators were down. The men's floor had about half as much merchandise as they usually do. It was also very quiet, likely partially due to no escalators. If this HBC survives it should probably go the Simons route and just focus on clothing and...

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

I say any building on any corner should have the right to sell coffee.
