    Toronto The Ivy | 110.33m | 34s | Tricon | Graziani + Corazza

Well this looks like a bit of an improvement at least. Full height vision glass, limestone detailing, and all the spandrel is shadow boxed (though there is still a lot).

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Allied | Hariri Pontarini

They may have a minimal presence in the office floors, but my understanding is that it's fully leased by Thomson Reuters. I think the logo is more to mark it as a Westbank Living property which is their rental division. As I understand it Westbank has a pretty small presence employee wise in...

    Toronto Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Allied | Hariri Pontarini

They must be itching to get the crane in to get forming going, this has been slower than anticipated given the complexity of the facade support. The North and South faces for this one will have some pretty cool signage from the looks of the Sign Variance Application (filed Dec 11):

Strange, I don't have that option on my side, just add media.

This was way trickier than I thought it'd be!

Had a pretty good view of this one. Crazy tight space needed some precise maneuvering. Got a cool video too that I'll have to figure out how to add later.

    Toronto Four Eleven King Condominiums | 149.04m | 45s | Great Gulf | KPMB

Another hotel for the entertainment district - I think this is the first we've heard of it?

Couldn't snap a good pic, but yes. Rebar cage and crane base are now in and awaiting a concrete pour. They've been working Saturdays lately so I'd imagine it could be as soon as tomorrow. The site is not very wide between the lane and Mercer so it'll be interesting to see how they finish the...

    Toronto 3C Waterfront | ?m | ?s | 3C Lakeshore | Foster + Partners

Pretty impressive collection of firms there! Very much looking forward to seeing these lands get developed over the next ten years. Some highlights from the article:

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Pinnacle website has this up for registration now: http://www.pinnacleinternational.ca/communities/SkyTower. Usually they're pretty quick to start construction once sales start so I'd imagine this one won't actually be too much longer

    Toronto KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

Some updates from Allied's Q3 2019 Earnings Call (around the 52:00 mark): Units are over 72% sold and above expectations prior to construction starting Price per Square Foot is the highest ever in the King-Spadina neighbourhood (unsurprisingly) Construction is slated to begin in November...

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

This flew a bit under the radar, but I noticed a minor variance application was submitted and approved for MetroCentre which I was very happy to read about! An excerpt from the cover letter: 'Proposal Details The proposal comprises the revitalization and updating of MetroCentre and includes...

    Toronto 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

Ground breaking scheduled for November 26th as per this article: https://renx.ca/lanterra-15000-condo-units-and-still-going-strong/ Edit: Whoops looks like that was mentioned on the previous page..another interesting point from the article is that Lanterra is considering getting into rentals...

    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Riocan says 8,000 according to their leasing brochure: https://riocan.propertycapsule.com/property/output/document/view/id:1824 on page 13. On another note...I can't wait to see the materials here! Terracotta, brick, granite, and the glass is vastly curtain wall where there aren't balconies - I...

    Toronto Nobu Residences Toronto | 156.66m | 45s | Madison Group | Teeple Architects

Agreed that it has the potential to be horrible - definitely says a lot how desperate I am to see more colour variation though when bronze spandrel gets me fired up hahaha...

Is the spandrel all up the building not bronze as it's indicated by 5A? The grey spandrel seems limited to the lower levels around the podium. I may be reading it wrong, but if you zoom in the shades are distinctly different to me. Guess we'll see!

As far as most projects go this has relatively little grey spandrel I thought? It has more bronze or mirrored spandrel as far as I can tell in the plans. That combined with bronze glass in general and the black aluminum cladding certainly sets this apart - I think it's entirely reasonable to have...
