    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

From yesterday morning. Taller than its neighbours.

    Downtown, Midtown and Uptown

If we're talking about north to south, Downtown is Queens Quay to Bloor and Midtown is upwards to Yonge/Eglinton.

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

I'm at the student centre right now, and it's already being widely used. It's so amazing, because before this building we really didn't have and official common campus space. You walk in and see so many students from so many different programs gathering together. It really feels more like a...

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Why the hate on the Sears building? It's one of my favorites in the city!

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

It's like this so people aren't sleeping on them/getting too comfy, like many seats and couches across campus

+1 Are some really complaining about cleaned restored buildings?

    Toronto IMMIX | 131.06m | 38s | QuadReal | a—A

Oh great, another Quadrangle building. Looks a bit uninspiring...like they just placed a glass box that is just shy of the clock tower.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Wow, is this the same station?!! Major improvement to the Bay Concourse.

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

I used to live 10 minutes from Great Lakes! The mall itself is not even close to a true outlet center, but the Nordstrom Rack closeby is amazing. Amazing shoe/boot selection, and great deals.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Man, so sad. I used to work at that location for two years. :'( Shame the company is struggling hard right now.

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

Actually, I heard from my friend last night they are indeed taking space in the building. Their losing ownership over the theatre school building.

Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

Simple. These restored buildings will bring in higher end retailers. Even if they are Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Aroma, or even banks like TD/RBC, the landlords will be getting a lot more rent having large corporations renting out these units rather than small junky businesses who can barely afford...

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

Oh, my, god, finally. Right down the street from me.

    Toronto Ryerson Student Learning Centre | 50.59m | 8s | Ryerson University | Zeidler

So pretty much confirmed the ground level Starbucks will be the only retail tenant, with the below grade portion being expanded student space. Shame. But let's be real. Despite the building being beautiful and well constructed, they really missed the mark by cramming retail space underneath...

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Very very very good point. I always forget about the wave aspect of the project. Not only will we notice this effect from close up, but from far down Bloor Street too.

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

My friend who works at H&M confirmed the mens floor is expanding into the old Sears space.

    Target

I can't see Target exiting Canada either. Huffington Post is just using an eyegrabbing headline to gain web traffic. "According to sources while visiting Canadian stores, the Target stores in Canada didn't look any busier" is not substantial proof backing their headline. Target would be smart...
