I drove by this mornig ....They are just steps away from excavation ! I'm suprised they chose not to put hording up !... Within 2 years Charlie will stand tall...This area will be booming with with all the development around it ! King st is always packed Thurs/Fri/Sat nite !

If MEC needed to expand again, then they would have taken over the Shoppers Drug Mart property before Shoppers moved in . I dont' really see MEC being torn down and developed into condos !.....That would be insane....That means there would be 7 condos (Glass,Charlie,Victory, M5V,Festival Tower...

Paying an extra $2000 per floor is what seems to be the going rate !.... The East view seems to be the best at any height + you will get your money back when you go to resell it ! Paying an extra $10-20,0000 for a view? I really don't think you will get your money back in terms of resell!

I've been hearing that this will be the next "yorkville"....does anyone know if the prices will go up for the area once Festival Tower and M5V is built?

I agree.... if you want a nw view, then you need to be higher than 24-25... otherwise a east view might just be the best in the building at any floor

Prices have actaully gone up quite a bit !!! I was their on the weekend and both Satin and Denim layouts (One bed + den ) have jumped in price ... Satin - 21st fl $406,999 East w/o parking Denim - 10th fl $410,999 East w/o parking Just back in June , both these...

well not too sure bout the CN Tower view anymoere...once M5V is built , I'm sure it will block a good part of the south view ...esp the CN Tower!

When do we get to go to the design centre and pick out the finishes? As well does anyone have any idea what the views will be like facing east in the mid teens !????

Well lets just hope that the retail that will be built in Charlie will be decent. ..... .And lets hope more "higher end" stores will replace the "drab stores" across.

Thats exciting ! Finally .....This area will be THE place to be once M5V and TIFF Lightbox are completed !....All Charlie needs now is to attach a hot tub to the pool !) This is gonna be a great building ! Hopefully with very FEW renters !
