    Toronto Grand Avenue Park | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

This park will make for an excellent night time cityscape photography spot, once it is finished and HBS skyline grows up a little more

    Toronto Eau du Soleil Condos | 227.98m | 66s | Empire | Richmond Architects

Hey, just look at the L-tower and One Bloor as some examples of how long it takes to finish the exterior. It may have taken over a decade, but in the end, the developers of those buildings are slowly getting closer to getting things done. I have full confidence that 20 years from now, Empire...

Wet concrete reveals a lot of neat structural details. Case in point, this is what CN Tower looks like when wet

    Toronto Mirabella Condominiums | 120m | 38s | Mirabella Dev Corp | Scott Shields

You are correct. Having witnessed the awe-inspiring sight of the Regal Cladding, I had my mind completely overturned. This building is going to be a masterpiece of architectural perfection! The luscious yet subtle shade or the rosé concrete pillars of Mirabella will be second only to the...

    Toronto Eau du Soleil Condos | 227.98m | 66s | Empire | Richmond Architects

I only wish they painted the V-columns... They look so bad as bare concrete. I think I'm allergic to brutalism, even in tiny doses. Yeah, they took down the cannabis store sign from this unit. Now there's a "For Rent" sign on that unit, which looks like it was bought at a dollar store along...

    Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | VANDYK | Kohn

Alright, my last off-topic post. It's just I really like discussing neighborhood gems. You're not wrong, Cheese Boutique is definitely a destination on a provincial scale. I learned about it years before I even moved to Mimico from a guy who would drive all the way down from New Market to shop...

    Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | VANDYK | Kohn

Well, if you make your way to San Remo, check out their sandwich selection too. And you may as well couple it with a coffee/latte from Birds & Beans down by the waterfront (oh so good!). Between those two, and Cheese Boutique, the foodie trifecta is complete.

    Toronto Westlake Encore | 146.3m | 45s | Onni Group | P + S / IBI

You'd think this project is done and dusted, with people having moved into the building a couple of years ago. Even the title of this thread claims that the building is "complete". But riddle me this, batman: what's with this wall? I thought they were waiting for the fence between Encore...

    Toronto Backyard Neighbourhood Condos | 24.99m | 10s | VANDYK | Kohn

You have a finer taste in delicacies than me, sir. But as it happens, my backpack was full of wine and cheese from my run to Cheese Boutique that day :)

    Toronto 100 Queens Quay at Sugar Wharf | 117.34m | 25s | Menkes | B+H

Have you seen this building in person on a sunny day? Because if you haven't, I highly recommend. The quality cladding and the thoughtful notches really do turn this building into a looker. This is truly one glass box in this city that's above the rest.

    Toronto Phoenix | 92.96m | 29s | Empire | Graziani + Corazza

First look at the exterior finishes: Black mullions and recessed grey glass spandrel..... 😐 Why did they bother to very recently update their hoarding with this render, if what they're building is not even close?

    Toronto Grand Park Village | 133m | 40s | Minto Group | Wallman Architects

Fresh fencing was just put up all around this site: There were cars parked outside of this fine establishment as recently as 2 days ago. Now it's all fenced up. This cultural landmark will be sorely missed:

    Toronto Mirabella Condominiums | 120m | 38s | Mirabella Dev Corp | Scott Shields

The map page of Urban Toronto site is a good place to look for adjacent proposals. Nothing in the immediate vicinity of Mirabella, other than Southport Square. 2150 Lake Shore is another one you might want to check out.

    Toronto Vita on the Lake | 177.08m | 53s | Mattamy Homes | Graziani + Corazza

There are so many buildings in the area already with identical heights and floorplates: Lago, Vita, the four Westlake towers, Water's Edge is about to get built, Key West is the same height, just smaller floorplate. It's becoming a little too table-toppy. Luckily Eau du Soleil and Palace Pier...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

To some it's "unsafe", to others it's "rustic, charismatic character of true heritage" 😉
