Have you seen this building in person on a sunny day? Because if you haven't, I highly recommend. The quality cladding and the thoughtful notches really do turn this building into a looker. This is truly one glass box in this city that's above the rest.

First look at the exterior finishes: Black mullions and recessed grey glass spandrel..... 😐 Why did they bother to very recently update their hoarding with this render, if what they're building is not even close?

Fresh fencing was just put up all around this site: There were cars parked outside of this fine establishment as recently as 2 days ago. Now it's all fenced up. This cultural landmark will be sorely missed:

There are so many buildings in the area already with identical heights and floorplates: Lago, Vita, the four Westlake towers, Water's Edge is about to get built, Key West is the same height, just smaller floorplate. It's becoming a little too table-toppy. Luckily Eau du Soleil and Palace Pier...
