The new Greek restaurant opened just north of Wellesley opened today.(where Mamma's Shawarma Wraps and the old Garage Sandwhich Shop was) Its called "Yefseis". I haven't tried it yet, but it looks good.

There is now a sign in the window of the old Statlers space. All it says is "coming soon" and the new name which is "Elevate". It doesn't give any further info as to what it will be- a bar, restaurant, night club etc..

There is also a new restaurant opening up in what most recently was the falafel place just north of Wellesly on Church. (it was the original location of the Garage Sandwich Shop years ago). I spoke to one of the people working on cleaning it up who told me that it would be a Greek restaurant.

On the way out to find some dinner last night I saw a scafold going up in front of the old Bigliardi's space. I asked the people working on it who said that a pizza restaurant was going in. Apparently it is part of a chain. Less character more cookie cutter outlets for Church St..
