Didn't see this talked about in this thread much, but I got a flyer in the mail today for an expanded Shoppers Drug Mart with FRESH FOOD for their Queen St E/Carlaw (Leslieville) location..they will have fresh produce (inc organic), bakery, dairy, meat and prepared foods (ie sushi) etc..here is...
I don't know how Apple determines where their future stores go, but I don't think population is the main factor..for example, Tokyo, Japan has a metro population of over 37 million, yet has only 3 retail stores in city
There is a banner now across the top saying "Retirement Sale"..which probably means that it is closing but I would hope that the owner could have found someone to take over the store..its been there for decades...I wonder what will replace it?
there was another blackout last night in the area, prob the fourth in as many months...and there wasn't a storm...anyone know the reasons for the spike?
