TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I meant just the average so far, hopefully the anticipated numbers pan out.

So why is North York so Expensive? And Scarborough so cheap?

Its okay, the majority of opinion in Toronto right now is still in the denial stage about unaffordability. Realtors/real estate firms don't want to see commissions, increased sales prices, and etc. to drop, so that's just a bad starting vantage point for advice on how healthy a housing market...

    Car2Go Illegal Parking - Solutions?

Each person is entitled to their own views on this, and I would simply state that spending over $200 per year, which is the current rate for a standard parking spot, is a bit pricey. At the price I pay currently, I should be guaranteed a spot... But as we know its a crapshoot at best.

What would be the bombardier delivery average these days? 2 per month?

So why is North York so Expensive? And Scarborough so cheap?

This is kind of a chicken or the egg argument. Is perpetually market-driven hyper capitalization of mortgages what is keeping people out of their homes - money so cheap you can over-borrow in the hundreds and hundreds of thousands, or would it be better to introduce interest rates that put...

    New Transit Funding Sources

Canada has a reputation for better transit because transit is absolutely better here than the average in the US, even in NYC you don't see buses running well in suburbs like is common here in Toronto as well as other municipalities. Even Winnipeg has decent bus frequency... And that is the...

So why is North York so Expensive? And Scarborough so cheap?

Housing in Toronto is going to crash at the rate its going, it would be better if government would get its act together and take action today to avoid the worst scenario later. 1) Install a foreign buyer's tax, maybe even more significant than what we see in Vancouver. Foreign buyers are...

    Car2Go Illegal Parking - Solutions?

Well, maybe someday traffic can flow in Toronto. There's hope.

    Car2Go Illegal Parking - Solutions?

Are you the gentleman that called the police to report the Car2Go so they could enhance revenue generation? LOL Parking is certainly a premium. I am in the west Bloor area and I had to go through many hoops just to get a parking permit since I can't use the facilities the landlord here owns for...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

So, I suppose now the cherry is popped, so to speak.

    Car2Go Illegal Parking - Solutions?

Car2Go is essentially the same as Uber, which is also a corporation, in that its just the end user opting to park in a given location. The rules have to be modernized I suppose, because car sharing as a service isn't going anywhere.

    SmartTrack (Proposed)

The important thing going forward is not to get back into old debates about vehicle technology over light rail vehicles or heavy rail vehicles. The important thing is to maintain rights of way so that transit vehicles - of any type - don't mix with intersections or automobile traffic in any way...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

What is the next streetcar line to receive the new LRV's after the Spadina and Waterfront lines?

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I will believe it when I see it. The one guy they have installing the Presto machines in the subways must be on break.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Does the TTC have a timeline for when they think the buses will be Presto equipped? I've yet to see a bus with any equipment installed and it is supposedly going to be rolled out by year's end.

    2015 Federal Election

Agreed, Putin is the type of politician that requires a game of chess and coded language rooted in intelligence, not checkers and bombastic political rhetoric. With Harper we've had a decade of checkers combined with mindless political rhetoric.
