Maybe it`s a good thing the light feature still isn`t finished (and at this rate possibly never will be). It would only draw attention to the unfinished Trump sign on the top and the many other shortcomings of this building, and the man it`s named after.

from that picture it looks like the inside strip of glass is going to be the same glass used for the top half, so in terms of reflectivity I think promises have been broken. It's going to be quite darker than one would expect from the renders that's for sure.

IMO I don't actually care about the height. It's the 3 buildings squished together that is sad. I would rather one Gehry or 3 scattered around the city instead of this 3 in a line bogus cash grab.

The fact that they are building on top of another building raises all sorts of issues , the foundation being too shallow and the lack of elevators would be the biggest. Not to mention the cyclical nature of building booms, they can't last forever.

correct, it's 480 uni, also called the icon, it will be 18+ 37 (55) stories and most likely won't ever get built. looks taller because it's more west than a lot of other buildings around it.
