Im liking the use of the light coloured brick on the upper portion of the building. Although it looks like stucco from a distance, Im glad to see the use of brick and minimal amounts of spandrel here. Now, can we just get rid of those awful overhead hydro wires? :mad:

Damn, this looks awful. Just a hodge podge of too many elements on such a basic box. The podium - if you can even call it that- lacks any presence. The Expo City condos are far better looking

The building is bland and uninspiring but this is good infill for the area. The smartest thing they did was to save lot 10 for another development. Turning it into a park, as previously envisioned, doesn't make any sense or provide much for the area.

Does anyone have any updates on this? The website disappeared completely and the sales centre at the Bramalea City Centre is long gone. I drove by the property yesterday and there are two cranes on site. They are currently on the third floor of construction. Very interguing. I wonder if this...

This thing looks awful in person. Has a slapstick suburban motel facade.

While the new exterior is nothing special, it is an improviement over the pervious rendering with those dated late 90's balconies and colour combinations. Let's just hope that the top portion of the new rendering isnt plain stucco. That would make the building look like one of those god...

Totally agree. The renderings looked extremely outdated and tacky which is partly why this is a pleasant surprise. ;)

I was expecting typical condo crap but these are actually surprisingly elegent. The black detailing really contrasts well with the white "fins" which give the building a very curvaceous silhoutte from a distance. The podium with the retail is not bad but I am not sure how well retail will do on...

I really love what this building does for the Queensway. The Zinc metal siding looks amazing. The only part I dont really like is the blank unfinished concrete wall on bottom side of the building. I hope it doesnt stay that way. Perhaps some sort of finish will help tie everything in!

This is a very prime area in Brampton because it has a direct connection (via Zum BRT)to the future Vaughan Metropolitan Centre subway station. It is very close to both the 427 and the 407 which makes it very attractive in terms of mobility. This is also the closest part of Brampton to Toronto...

Thanks for the pics! From the initial renderings, the globe seemed promising but I think it will turn out lackluster. It'd be great if the clock tower could perhaps be reassembled somewhere else in Erin Mills as a monument. Maybe at a park or a public gathering space.

I like the way this building meets the street corner. Although it isnt unique, it creates a nice urban realm. Lets hope the north side of Burnhamthorpe with all those awful single detached homes gets redeveloped accordingly to match the south side.
