    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

So, if the loop comes back, I can hop on The Hazel McCallion line which can take me to the Hazel McCallion Library, or the Sheridan Hazel McCallion Campus, where I can go to the Hazel McCallion bookstore, or the other Hazel McCallion library. or if I want some variety, I can visit Square One...

    Mississauga Oro at Edge Towers | ?m | 50s | Solmar | Rosario Varacalli

That's Mississauga government for you 🤷‍♂️. They want density, but they don't want to build a street grid. They want a LRT but they don't want to reduce parking requirements. It's just vertical subdivisions.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

IIRC, the Ford government wanted to reduce the cost of the entire project, so, the Cooksville GO pedestrian bridge was cut, street furniture/landscaping was cut, the track won't be paved / or have sod, and the loop was cut. It's just a bunch of little things to reduce the cost...which in the...

Lost opportunity to build a pedestrian / cyclist bridge over the 403.

None. That land is slated to become a park.

Yeah. It was posted earlier in this thread that a sales office is going there.

That one pane of reflective glass is bothering me. It doesn't match the rest of the wall! Is there a functional reason why such a mirror-like glass is being used or just aesthetic reasons?

So..they go through all the trouble to remove the floors with a "4" in their number, and end up with a building that is 84 storeys tall (in actuality)? **facepalm**

I like the black cladding. Nice contrast.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The city could run a bus service from Matheson to the Paramount centre. There will be a LRT stop at Matheson.

Given the number of things named after that mayor on that road, they might as well!

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The proposed loop still didn't make sense, since the routing was along Duke of York Blvd* where there are no residential buildings north of Burnhamthorpe. If a second line was built serving residents on Confederation / Burnhamthorpe / Rathburn, that would make more sense, but is there even a...

Mississauga MW Condo | 92.05m | 28s | JD Development Group | Tregebov Cogan Architects

Oh, the new proposal is disappointing. The maze was at least interesting. This is too generic.

Industrial strength febreeze. Just joking. They upgraded the ventilation system to filter the air, among other things. More info: https://blackandmcdonald.com/wp-content/uploads/BM_Construction_CityofTorontoHumber_ON-1.pdf

So, the retail space is now going to be a LCBO and not the fruit company? That would be the most avant-garde thing for Ontario, ever.

    Proposed renaming of Dundas Street

The needles of some pine trees are toxic to animals. Won't someone please think of the animals!

Churchill Meadows Community Centre (City of Mississauga, 1s, MJMA)

I don't know whether to like or dislike this building. It's like half the building is cold and sterile, while the other half is warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the cold and sterile side is facing the main road / parking lot.

    Mississauga Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

The view is northwest of the site, looking towards Living Art Centre, and Sheridan College. The tallest buildings furthest northwest are purportedly to be Square One district.

I like how the podium transitions into the park and vice versa. It feels strange to be liking a quasi tower in the park.

    Mississauga Highlight of Mississauga | ?m | 14s | Hazelton Dev | Arcadis

While this photo could qualify as a highlight of Mississauga, it is posted in the wrong thread. It goes to show how ridiculous these condo project names are, though.
