Ahhh, finally some action on this next level. Can't wait to see the eastern curve and see how slim it will appear as it goes up.

I really hope they have something impressive up their sleeve for the rooftop of this building compared to the original renders.

Still don't know what to think of this one. Will have to reserve judgment until a good year or so.

Are the water and lit rink features new since the revitalization? I never really paid attention to this. Nice to see they're using the stage for some locals acts. Passed by last night

I'm going to the pre-opening party on Friday to check it out. I love CB2 which I'm sure will be around for a while. Bought the best floor lamp from them last year. It looks bigger than the San Fran store. I wonder what the Vancouver store will look like next month.

Enjoyed my free $10 voucher meal last night and it was packed at 7-8pm. I was quite impressed with the job they did, huge improvement, and it finishes off the renos really well with those lit circles above the escalators to enter the area.

Is it just me or does that dome look slightly too low compared to the height of the mechanical box? Wish it were a tad higher to stand out from it. I guess the addition of the spire will make the difference.

I'm one of many who isn't that impressed with the EC renovations which are subtle to say the least. I was in the mall yesterday with a friend and when I asked him what he thought of the recent renovations, he said "They've renovated the EC?" LOL. I have to say my favourite aspect of the reno...
