    Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

I'm surprised not many in this thread show their disappointment towards the podium not living up to its renderings. To me thats the biggest disappointment. The rendering shows angled out glass toward the tip of the wedge and the white vertical pieces in a unique pattern that doesn't go from top...

    Toronto Cumberland at Yorkville Plaza | 124.96m | 40s | Camrost-Felcorp | WZMH

IMO the cladding looks decent due to the fact it's reflective, not just this clear glass going up on a lot of towers, making it look less messy. Also looks to be very little spandrel and those large grid like frames/mullions whatever they are give some structure and visual interest to the...

Toronto Atrium on Bay Expansion | 114m | 34s | KingSett Capital | Hariri Pontarini

It would be nice if they put a Miniso in atrium on Bay. Miniso is a Japanese store selling household, personal items for low prices. Somewhat comparable to a dollarama. Went to one in Guelph little while back, where they have one of a handful of locations already in Ontario. Was very busy and...

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

I wonder if the total length of mullions on this building would wrap around the entire circumference of the earth. There sure are a lot of heavy ones used in this building.

    Toronto Grid Condos | 157.88m | 50s | CentreCourt | IBI Group

IMO, if they used curved glass for the corners of the black bands it may have given the building more distinction between the two colors.

If Whole foods is still looking for a large enough retail space in south dt they might as well set up shop here knowing it could be ready shortly and retail spaces in the area of this size are scarce at this moment. Unless they've abandoned a store in this area for other reasons.

I like how a lot of this tower has the broken up balconys design istead of the long continuous balconys that dominate this area.

    Toronto YC Condos -- Yonge at College | 198.42m | 62s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

I was in Montreal a few weeks ago and noticed a lot of the new building looked very well executed as well, didn't see one new build I didn't like. Did a quick search of units for new residentials and was surprised at how low some units are going for, making the city seem more appealing...

    Toronto Fortune at Fort York | 78.94m | 24s | Onni Group | Arcadis

I don't know this area that well but have noticed on this forum a lot of the condos being put up around that location by this onni developer have little to no retail and a lot of townhomes at ground level. Is there a reason the city never demanded more ground level retail because for the amount...

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

I like it when a building of this caliber gets built and puts some of the recent subpar buildings to shame. One minor thing id like to see different is the (2nd story?)podiums corner glass at young/bloor be curved rather then angled. I think it might play off the curves of the rest of the...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

This must be a new rule because I've seen it open mid game many times before. One memorable time was Canada day a year or two ago they opened it during the game and it was a nice atmosphere with the rain clouds making way for sun.

    Toronto The Madison | 121m | 36s | Madison Group | Kirkor

Lesson learned, don't put black lettering in front of dark windows. The lettering was also very small for such a heavy duty looking support. That support bar is saying is that the best you got.

    Toronto 7 St Thomas | 38.71m | 9s | St. Thomas | Hariri Pontarini

Not that the renderings look bad of this building but the glass has turned out to look better then that of the renderings which suggest a more solid looking white bands around it.

I don't think the new stuff that was installed last year looked patchy at all. The turf they used prior to last year was very patchy though. The new stuff looked pretty uniform to me. The only thing I noticed was that the seams in the turf are noticeable while watching on tv.

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

CF doesn't sound good. Initials on a buildings name are uninteresting and especially meaningless when nobody knows what they stand for, so why add them on. If they really wanted their name advertised on the Mall, they should just call it Cadillac Fairview Center/Mall. Which doesn't sound good...

    Toronto West Block Est. 1928, The LakeShore, and The LakeFront | 130.75m | 41s | Choice Properties | a—A

Being so close to the water these towers boxy profile don't look like they belong here. At least make them slender if you're going boxy, with the slender portion facing the lake so they don't stick out too much from the lake view. Hopefully they are not as fat looking as they appear in the...

    Toronto Hotel X (was Hotel in the Garden) | ?m | 27s | Exhibition Place | NORR

At least this building is staying true to its renderings so far. For what that's worth. The top part seems interesting in the renderings but don't think it will be enough to save this design.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

With regards to the seating in Rogers centre. I've noticed while going to games that the seats seem very small and crammed in with very little leg room and if someone leaves their seat or arrives at their seat, every one has to stand up and their still scrapping against you as you walk by...

    Toronto 12° / 12 Degrees Condos | 35.66m | 11s | BSäR Group | Core Architects

I like the stone pillars on the base of the building extending upwards above the base making itself blend into the top half nicer then just stopping where the rest of the stone(fake stone, not sure) ends.
