I wonder if the total length of mullions on this building would wrap around the entire circumference of the earth. There sure are a lot of heavy ones used in this building.

IMO, if they used curved glass for the corners of the black bands it may have given the building more distinction between the two colors.

If Whole foods is still looking for a large enough retail space in south dt they might as well set up shop here knowing it could be ready shortly and retail spaces in the area of this size are scarce at this moment. Unless they've abandoned a store in this area for other reasons.

I like how a lot of this tower has the broken up balconys design istead of the long continuous balconys that dominate this area.

This must be a new rule because I've seen it open mid game many times before. One memorable time was Canada day a year or two ago they opened it during the game and it was a nice atmosphere with the rain clouds making way for sun.

Lesson learned, don't put black lettering in front of dark windows. The lettering was also very small for such a heavy duty looking support. That support bar is saying is that the best you got.

Not that the renderings look bad of this building but the glass has turned out to look better then that of the renderings which suggest a more solid looking white bands around it.

I don't think the new stuff that was installed last year looked patchy at all. The turf they used prior to last year was very patchy though. The new stuff looked pretty uniform to me. The only thing I noticed was that the seams in the turf are noticeable while watching on tv.

CF doesn't sound good. Initials on a buildings name are uninteresting and especially meaningless when nobody knows what they stand for, so why add them on. If they really wanted their name advertised on the Mall, they should just call it Cadillac Fairview Center/Mall. Which doesn't sound good...

At least this building is staying true to its renderings so far. For what that's worth. The top part seems interesting in the renderings but don't think it will be enough to save this design.

I like the stone pillars on the base of the building extending upwards above the base making itself blend into the top half nicer then just stopping where the rest of the stone(fake stone, not sure) ends.
