    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

They should get Normon Foster to design it.

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Oh cool.. Isn't it kinda dumb that residents got to take one elevator to the sky lobby and then take another elevator to their condo... must increase travel time considerably.

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Is there going to be an outdoor cafe on south side?

Toronto doesn't ever think of outdoor cafes.

    Toronto M5V Condominiums | 118.87m | 35s | Lifetime | Core Architects

Let them build the darn thing. Look how close rbc, ritz, and simcoe place are. Then look at trump and scotia building. Toronto should be a tall dense city.

If you could change one thing about Toronto, what would it be?

Toronto Streets, I would change the streets, make them wider and in a grid pattern.

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Ugly without the roof, just another box otherwise. Whats happening on the ground floor? Is the podium exterior all done?

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

It's for residents only. Not for hotel guests.

    Toronto Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Toronto | 203.9m | 52s | Lifetime | a—A

Not to mention that ghastly above ground parking lot? easily fit a nice tower with underground there.

1 Bloor East, DEAD AND BURIED (Bazis, -2s, Varacalli)

I don't think condo-hotels are losing their luster at all just because one no name condo-hotel failed on bloor street. Look at Ritz Carlton, they have at least 20 more in the pipeline, look at four seasons, still another 20, then shangri-la, 20 more, trump, dozens more.. etc etc then theres the...

1 Bloor East, DEAD AND BURIED (Bazis, -2s, Varacalli)

Yup! Exactly! It makes total sense to go ahead. And makes no sense to halt and restart. Almost certainly bazis will be involved, if in name and reputation only. They must have used this as leverage in their bargaining to maintain a role with the new developers vs time running out and property...

RBC Centre (LEED Gold, CadFair, 41s, KPF/B+H/&Co.) COMPLETE

Shit, that thing is like a huge lantern. Or lighthouse.

1 Bloor East, DEAD AND BURIED (Bazis, -2s, Varacalli)

It makes no sense to restart everything, the design is pristine and they already acheived the most price per sq.ft they can possibly acheive. And this was done at market peak. To do so now will be very very difficult. Assuming the project gets picked up by another developer with clout. 1...
