    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

I was thinking 1 sale per week which seems like their pace but if they do something drastic like californiaCondo or Fly then they can probably break ground by next month.

    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

39 sounds much better .... at least its decent height. But it's gonna take a looong time to get to the 75% mark .... maybe sometime next fall they'll start breaking ground.

great area to visit and hang out for a few hours but i'm not fond of living there either. Still a little sketchy in some areas if you walk a few blocks north/west.

    Spring thaw lures home buyers

From our company's analysis and trending .... number of sales have increased quite a bit in 2009 but prices have continued to go down moderately. Houses that are overpriced are just sitting on the market until prices a in line with current market conditions. You have a number of...

    California Condos (Camrost-Felcorp) - Real Estate -

455 sq ft from $150,000 545 sq ft from $199,900 580 sq ft from $210,000 . . . that's what i gathered from a realtor a few days ago, maybe someone who went today can confirm. NOt too impressive....

    iLoft Condos (Camrost-Felcorp) - Real Estate -

\ i don't know ... with the current new prices/promotions, i'm sure they're much lower than what the original people bought them at. If you can take them out and buy now at a lower price then why not?.

    California Condos (Camrost-Felcorp) - Real Estate -

455 is still a studio no matter how you spin it. I don't care if you put in a closet as a bedroom ..... when it comes to resale, people will still look at it as a studio. On a side note for those who are interested in buying these suites, make sure you get a pre-approval with your lender...

    Feather Factory Lofts (Roncesvalles/Dundas, Plazacorp)

there's a sucker born every minute. :D ..... seriously, if i was spending over $200,000 on anything, i'll make damn sure that there's no questions marks in the purchase. Sorry if this sounds crude but the whole thing sounds like a mickey mouse operation..... total amateurs.

5-year fixed mortgage rates up 10-15% in the last week

There's nothing the gov't can do because the bond yield is the benchmark value for setting the lender's Mortgage Back Security coupon rates (which in turn allows lenders to continue funding mortgages). If the spread between the bond yields (MBS coupon rates) and the Mortgage Rates narrows to...

5-year fixed mortgage rates up 10-15% in the last week

You need a bloomberg terminal. Not sure if there's anything free on the net but you could try this http://www.canadianbondindices.com/live_data.asp .... not sure if it works though, never seen it before.

5-year fixed mortgage rates up 10-15% in the last week

Our pipeline has dried up so quick in the past 3 weeks that i would be really surprised if the decrease in month over month sales is not 20-30%. A lot of first time buyers that wanted to buy, have bought in the past few months so we might go back to some pretty horrific numbers going into the...

GTA May Resale Housing Sales Higher Than Last Year

May 2009 Sales have increased 200% compared to Jan 2009 .... also prices have increased a whopping 500% since 1980. The market is doing incredibly well in face of challenging economic times. /sacrasm. I wonder why they didn't do Jan to May comparisons this time around.

Stonewater (was Idea Condo, Lakeview, Mississauga, Queenscorp, 4s, G+C)

they're stacked towns right?. disappointing indeed. Starting at $240k ... much more than what the condos were going for ($159) back then as well.

    Toronto South Beach Condos + Lofts | ?m | 27s | Amexon | Arsenault

% sold is just a reported number... most builders give the % sold of all 'released' suites...meaning 10% of the units may be supposedly held back 'to be' released closer to the completion date so the number of sold may fluctuate +/-10% .... i like this condo and look forward to seeing this one...

So, um, when are condo prices supposed to drop again?

it's definitely slowed down in may after a hectic couple of months .... but again Mar/April sales were due to a lot of people caving in after sitting on the sidelines from Oct-Feb. Based on early trends, it looks like a rather slow summer ahead of us. I won't be surprised of a further 10%...

    Home sales jump in April

why would anyone compare April to December/January ???. What can of idiot would do that?. Dec/Jan is the slowest months in real estate sales no matter what year or location .... that's a given fact!!!. Spring is also the busiest time regardless of where you are so comparing these two is asinine.

Shops at Don Mills (redevelopment, Giannone Petricone/Pellow + Associates )

Hi Art, my name is Bob Saccamano. I agree that outdoor malls are sucussful in Cali and Arizona but not in Toronto. Go to downtown Toronto during the winter months and you'll barely see a soul walking outside. I like the concept and the stores they have there but when the weather turns cold...

    Mississauga Stonebrook Condominiums | ?m | 18s | United Lands | Dietrich Boecker

Sales have been really slow for this one. I remember seeing their ads from a few years ago, is it because the neighbourhood is rather transient with all the rentals nearby?. How is the safety of the area? Maybe it's just too close to manufacturing and industrial plants? I think this one...

    Toronto South Beach Condos + Lofts | ?m | 27s | Amexon | Arsenault

South Beach condo is a love it or hate it project ... there's very few in between. As for the parking not being included, that would be a death move. They won't sell anything past 70% if they take away parking because there's no way people are buying in that location without a car.

Toronto Festival Tower and tiff Bell Lightbox | 156.96m | 42s | Daniels | KPMB

i love this building and i think it's coming along very nicely. I was down there last week and i realized that It has great street presence as it's very close to the street and the podium makes the street even more intimate. The amount of street life on the sidewalk and the eclectic collection...
