    Toronto Ventus at Metrogate Condos | ?m | 30s | Tridel | Graziani + Corazza

wow.... totally agree with solaris. The new ventus entrance was 100x better in the before pics. I might even say it looks classy and elegant with the glass box and 3 story lobby but now it's just a plain looking apartment, nothing special.

    iLoft Condos (Camrost-Felcorp) - Real Estate -

don't be upset, whoever is buying condos should expect their views to be obstructed at some point unless it's right against the water or some other protected land.

Madison Avenue Lofts Condos (Burnac Group) - Real Estate -

i wouldn't buy there even if it was $200 per sq ft ..... i can't put a price on my health. Although there has been numerous studies done on living besides transformer/hydro stations, nothing conclusive has come out of it and the debate on it's long term effect continues from both sides.

    Feedback wanted on Waterfront condos

my advice is stay away from buildings that have really high rentals (investors) and close to universities or right on the subway line. if you don't want frat house partying every weekend and maybe even weekdays too LOL (Lots of noise, people yelling at all hours, loitering, and random people...

    Where has the supply gone?

why do you need a confrimation?. It's on MLS..... about 27,000 listings in oct 08 and now only ~18,000 listings in Oct 09. Supply has dropped b/c people's uncertainty in moving up/down due to the recession ..... more people are staying put in their current homes so that creates a lack of...

    Luxury Condos everywhere ......

It's almost comical how every condo is now marketing themselves to be a 'luxury' condo. What and how would you define a real 'luxury' condo?. Is it dependent on location, price, amenities or finishes etc?. Would simply having granite counters, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors...

World On Yonge Condos (Liberty Development) - Real Estate -

i have a feeling this project is more than 60% investor bought ...... i don't think it's a good place to live if everyone are renters and it becomes quite transient. Not all, but some renters tend to trash the place and circumvent condo rules.

World On Yonge Condos (Liberty Development) - Real Estate -

yep, prices are pretty high for something that will be built in 2014.... everyone is banking on the TTC expanding north but that will be 20 years in teh making. The nice condos across the street are cheaper and you get to move in now. (Buddy lives there and the condos are pretty decent).

Drive behing the Market? Status Fad?

i lived in a couple of those cities and if you start comparing toronto to real world class cities then ..... ..... Don't get me wrong, Toronto is great but those other cities are in a totally different class and property values are justified. Just b/c Mel Lastman said it doesn't...

i wouldn't be surprised if the developer paid people to lineup outside...... it's all about driving the hype and emotions of people.

    Condo Value Depreciation

really depends.... older condos are less desirable and are sometimes almost impossible to move in the market due to abnormally high maintainence fees. Most of Toronto's condos are relatively new (less than 10 years) but once they get over 10 years, repairs start piling up, and maintainence hits...

    Most Dangerous Neighbourhood(s)?

my brother had night classes at Ryerson a few years back and he told me of a few times where security had to kick out drunk/mental/high homeless out of classrooms so they defintiely wander around and security can't be everywhere at all times.

Moss Park / Queen & Sherbourne

smolkin is fighting a long hard battle .... it may take years (like 10-15) before the area sees a remarkable difference (That's if it doesn't get worse). The number of shelters/rooming houses in the area will not be decreasing, in fact they may be growing ...... keep in mind that the homeless...

South Beach Condos & Lofts (Amexon Development Group) - Real Estate -

u should never buy based on a view unless you building is right up against the water or against protected land .......

Rouge Bijou (Downtown Markham, Remington, 10 + 3x 7s, Quadrangle)

are u serious about the $600,000 townhouses?. If it is then those people might have overpaid becuase i don't know why any sane person would pay more than half a million to buy a townhouse like that when you can buy a 3000 sq ft or more fully detached house within the same vicinity. Towns...

1 Bloor East, DEAD AND BURIED (Bazis, -2s, Varacalli)

Just in .... Might be a blessing in disguise for all those buyers ..... this thing is going to drag out for a long long time ........ too bad because it's starting to look like an eyesore with nothing but a big field of dirt on one of the best corners in Toronto.

oh why sophia why?? .... i was looking forward to seeing sophia get erected. I like the design of it, it would have been a great addition to Bathurst. too bad imo.
