Sad seeing Remington just sit on the land. When we moved in, we were sold that the neighborhood was currently being built but should have known since the development started in 2006 and 10 years later they haven’t even complete 5% of the master plan.

I mean the area just in general. Most of the Cineplex is done, just empty store fronts waiting to be reno'd and filled. The next big project will be Gallery Square once York Condos are done. York seems to be going slow. The Wynn Group condo at Village Parkway and 7 started much later than York...

I asked about the house before at Remington. They said it houses the Markham District Energy equipment that heats/cool the development. Wish it was used for something retail like an ice cream parlour or coffee shop.

juicing the market as much as they can :) they have some prime real estate in the middle of Markham. If prices keep going the way they are going, I'm sure they'll delay even longer to build, they'll just build elsewhere for the time being. Looks like Remington Homes is active in Oakville...

Ah got it. I was wondering why the K2 footprint was so tiny compared to the rest of building K. Makes sense that it's just going upwards. FYI, the signage address at Birchmount and Verdale Crossing has changed from 8200 to 8140. Makes much more sense heh. That Chiu Chow resto is opening...
