Steeles is about a 5-ish minute walk away from Meadowview/Doncaster. There's a YRT stop at Meadowview, but you'd have to choose between Steeles or Clark Ave for the VIVA bus.

I believe that's a retirement home / care facility of some sort.

There's an ad for this project in the latest Condo Guide, along with a small rendering. Looks pretty similar to the other buildings in the area. Does anybody know what they intend to do with the land facing Bathurst between Beverley Glen Blvd and North Park Road? There are two large blobs...

I went by this location today, and they had a new sign up in front of the sales office stating that construction will begin in August. There is also supposed to be a new release of suites available.

Proximity to transit and shopping would generally be considered a plus, sure. There's also a movie theatre, library, opera house and hospital nearby, but I gather you won't be signing up anytime soon :)

It's actually a surprisingly good location if you're familiar with the area. The Yonge VIVA line, Richmond Hill Centre, big box stores, Hillcrest Mall, community centre, parks, etc. are all within walking distance. Granted, it doesn't look like much now, but then mounds of undeveloped dirt...

It seems "The Emerald at Bayview Glen" as a marketing term no longer exists, as both phases of this project are now being referred to collectively as "The Miracle at Yonge". Each tower will be 12 storeys and connected by a shared lobby. Does anyone know who the architect is on this one? Or...

The residential portion of the "World on Yonge" web site is finally up and running: http://www.libertydevelopment.ca/worldonyonge/ There's no mention of pricing or availability yet, but perhaps they're waiting for Phase 2.

I just got an email from Pemberton confirming that "Miracle at Yonge" is simply a rebranding of "The Emerald at Bayview Glen", not a new phase. I guess they want to take a different approach to marketing this project. The whole "emerald" thing has been kind of overdone lately, after all...
