I can't help but be reminded of this North Korean gem whenever I see this building.

I meant the residential component of 4800, but I agree. NYCC definitely needs more office space to diversify commuting patterns and add some life during weekdays. However, the economics just aren't there as the area is not a highly desirable location for office space for some reason.

This tower and 4800 Yonge will certainly help bring more foot traffic to the area, along with the new Longo's. Restaurant options in the neighbourhood have gotten much better in the past 5 years and we need more density to maintain and build that momentum. I'd like to see Yonge and Sheppard...

The digital billboards in the mall say Longo's will open in summer 2019. There will also be a Starbucks in or next to the Longo's.
