    Toronto X The Condominium | ?m | 44s | Great Gulf | a—A

yeah... X^2 will be right across the street, -likely blocking the views of anyone who has a unit facing south. The question is... which will start construction first? X^2 or 1Bloor?

    Condo Upgrades

I'd agree with going standard backsplash... It's probably cheaper to install one of your own liking afterwards (from what I've heard from friends, it's pretty easy as long as you have access to a tile cutter). As for the undermount kitchen cabinet lights... I'd choose to have them if you...

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

I dont know... while it may not be the best looking building the area, -it certainly isnt the ugliest. Just my opinion of course, -but I like the looks of BSN a heck of a lot more than 500 Sherbourne.

If we were only comparing those 4 buildings (and nothing else), then yes, -I'd agree with that ranking.

which begs the question... what was the rush to sell out so quickly? (reducing prices?) Whether you believe $500 sq/ft is justified for this area, people bought at these prices. The building is virtually sold out, and still has another 10-12months before the first occupants come in. I...

odd... here's the response I got: "I am not able to leave an interior feature uninstalled. The standard material or an upgrade must be selected to pass inspection for occupancy"

With regards to upgrades, -does anyone know whether we can have it so the builder doesnt install the kitchen backsplash? I'd rather pick my own and install myself. Just seems stupid to have to remove the standard tiles if I know that Im going to change them once I move in.

yes... theres a hidden cabinet (barely visible) over the TV. That being said, -that's a $4000 upgrade.

Metropass holders to pay for parking?

just some food for thought... While I still use the metropass, I plan on cancelling... however I cant do that until next month. Under the metropass discount plan, you're automatically locked in for 12months (it automatically renews for another 12months). This basically means that if you...

Glasshouse Lofts Condos (Presidential Group, Exeter) - Real Estate -

isnt this right by Moss park? I've never been there, so I can only go from things I've read about in the papers... (and while they do embellish stories, -there's likely some truth to the negative press). Not sure about this area as a 'short-term' investment...

    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

Not sure they can. From the website, it looks like the smallest unit they have is 560 sq/ft. Werent the 'cheap' units at Fly/California tiny shoebox units? (350-400 sqft?)

    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

True, -but you'd figure that before reducing the number of units, that figure would be significantly less than 58%. Plus, reducing the overall number of units makes it extremely easier to reach 75%. Will Coulture be taller than the building to the north of it? (right at the intersection of...

I'll take your word for it since I dont know much about Tridel, -but from that picture Whirlpool and Amana look almost identical (especially where the oval logo/badge is placed on the products)

    Toronto Couture The Condominium | ?m | 42s | Philmor | Graziani + Corazza

assuming that the unsold units were in the floors that were removed (or at least he majority of them), -this more or less increases your sales/sold ratio (because there are effectively less unsold units).

probably to save money? Im guessing it costs a heck of a lot less to just shorten the building, rather than redesign the building.
