Exaggerating? Come to northeast Scarborough where many Sri Lankan and East Indian drivers don't give a damn! They would not hesitate to pass you on a residential street if they feel that you are going too slow (and too slow means the speed limit).
Come to my neighbourhood where the most dangerous twists and turns are done at 50 km/h when they should be done at 10-20 km/h.
What bothers many is that city staff should make more decisions based on what people observe versus relying so much on the data on file. I can't get a stop sign...
As a volunteer on Keesmaat's team, I support Tory? Anything else you would like to make up? Go to Post #130 in this thread and read what I wrote! I will be voting for her!!
She needs to have a bold response for tackling this issue a.s.a.p. Crime is definitely the #1 issue in this election. Sorry Tory, we need to worry about gun violence breaking out – at any time.
Why thank you for the nice words Steve!
If the Councillors who are so in favour of the King Street Pilot (and in transit such as streetcars and LRTs) are not complaining, why are you? Complain, complain, complain!
You do not like the diversion because you hate TIFF. We get it but if it were...
Sorry Jennifer but if you were mayor, Doug Ford would have walked all over you too! (lol) I think that this is an issue where no one or law can save Toronto. Where is Raymond Cho to help us change Ford's mind?
If this is such a major issue, why are Councillors such as Mihevc, Layton, Perks, Wong-Tam, etc. not publicly complaining about the closure of King Street for TIFF? It seems as though they do not mind, given that TIFF does not drag on for weeks.
I will vote for her too but when she becomes mayor, don't be shy to call her out whenever she is wrong. The Mayor David Miller thread was such a joke on this site. It was nothing but "kiss ass city" (lol)
