Is this going to be another grey building? Can’t they mix stone or brick glass? Give it some diversity. I’ve seen in Washington DC they can be beautiful.

The sugar refinery is fine but doesn’t it block pedestrians from walking along the water. When I was there and wanted to head back to the city I had to walk along the lakeshore boul and not the water. It was a mess. Went through parking lots, industrial area until I was back at the harborfront...

Are they transforming Yorkville into glass central now? Who’s overseeing these projects? Y don’t they enforce stricter rules on design. Keep a balance. They’re all glass. How about some stone, brick, whatever...... The Hazelton and stern’s buildings come to mind as building to emulate.

but toronto needs a high end destination for rich shoppers as well. what is wrong with that? why should it not? they are also making sure that there are restaurants and coffee shops and pastry shops, which keeps it vibrant.
