So, I guess snow doesn't really accumulate much on top of the angled windows. Was wondering about that!

    Toronto The Bread Company | 67.8m | 20s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

I've always really liked buildings designed by Lamb. Heard they're not great to live in though? Not trying to spread anything lol.

    Toronto 252 Church | 166.1m | 52s | CentreCourt | Arcadis

Yeah, damn! What a nice building under all that.

    Toronto Freed Hotel & Residences | 219m | 63s | Freed | AS + GG

The marketing video is super cringy. As for the building, I like it quite a lot! Unfortunately I feel like it'll be overshadowed by the surrounding neighbourhood to really shine and be noticed from afar. Street level should be really impactful though.

Whoa, I'm an "Active Member" finally! 🥳🎉 lol sorry for the weird self-congratulatory spam post

These are really reminding me of the Harbour Plaza twins downtown to an extent. Vaughn's getting really interesting 👀

If this is how it's gonna be, it'll force all the surrounding buildings to fit their exteriors with lighting and displays just to be seen in photos. I'm kidding of course. But, also not really.

    Toronto KSquare Condos | ?m | 34s | Kingdom | Arcadis

There's gotta be a ban on clear glass balconies IMO 💩. Unless the walls are gorgeous, which they often aren't, have opaque or somewhat translucent, but not transparent glass. When I see it, I almost always think nothing's there and the building's still under construction lol.

Me too. Your two cents make... sense. hehe 😜 I really didn't like it at first when the cladding started making an appearance. But, after things started to fill out and come together I started liking it a lot and now think it's a nice addition to the neighbourhood.

    Toronto Crosstown Place | 47.55m | 9s | Metrus | Core Architects

If this is an indication of what's to come in the area, I'm all for it 👏

Well hello! Love the vibe these balconies give.

I like this gradient effect! Gonna be interesting to see what other variations they come up with and eventually settle on going forward.

Damn! That puts it into perspective for sure.

    Toronto Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

Yeah, very random. Was just thinking about how this building essentially takes up an entire block and how much space is contained within those tiered towers. Would be a very tall building for the amount of material used if the plot were smaller.

    Toronto Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

Based on total floor space, how tall do you guys think this thing would be if all that square footage were stacked on a normal plot size similar to something like 19 Duncan?

    Toronto The Pemberton | 215.79m | 68s | Pemberton | a—A

What a disaster. Imagine buying here and thinking you're moving in ever.

    Toronto 88 Queen | 167.35m | 52s | St Thomas Dev | Hariri Pontarini

This building's a weird one for me. I can't figure out what I think of it and I'm pretty sure it's because it's a Hariri Pontarini building. Otherwise, I'd probably like it more. It's just not fully to their potential IMO, but it's fine. Looking forward to seeing it completed though!

I hope they keep this stylish rickety wooden railing

    Hamilton Augusta Block Buildings 2 & 3 | ?m | 8s | Core Urban Inc. | Lintack Architects

I'm a fan. Nice addition, Hamilton 👍 Tall buildings are awesome, but I'd like to see more of this in Toronto as well.

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Wow, I'm glad we can actually see the leaf design on the side of the buildings now. It's a bit corny, but it's what we were expecting, so 👍
