    Crothers Woods

I actually do that route a few times per summer, but starting at Muir Gardens. The Havergal grounds are actually even closer and security is light with the lack of school. I've been walking there recently as well

These look beautiful. Wondering if I'd be able to see the same type of plant life in the Chatsworth Ravine, which I believe is a connected tributary, and my closest nature trail

The combo of symmetry, perspective correction, and shooting at night always looks good, but this looks so, sooo great!

Jasonzed - Jason Zytynsky Tribute and Photography Award

I've typed and deleted about a dozen things in this thread without posting, because I just don't even know how to convey what I'm feeling. He was such a valued member of this community and was always enthusiastic about contributing, even going so far as to take requests from UT staff as to what...

How visible are the boundaries between the former Metro municipalities today?

I grew up around the North York/Toronto border and there are various streets that only have sidewalks on one side. I was told growing up that this was the result of them straddling city lines, but not sure if this is the case. Some examples include Briar Hill west of Bathurst and Woodward Ave...

Not only is this well under construction, but there's been a crane up for a while too! @interchange42

Surface and freestanding parking garages downtown

Over a year late to the party, but decided to GIF the images showing parking lots in 1978, 2019, and 2020

We have photos from the L Tower shot back in 2013 that show these gangways between the external crane and the tower. Even without having to Spiderman it to the top, this crane gig won't be for the faint of heart: https://urbantoronto.ca/news/2013/04/view-top-touring-l-tower-part-1

Depends on the system. Sony's A7 series has a lovely UI - subjective for sure but I'm in the "you get what you pay for" camp

My understanding is that salt water is the main problem when it comes to concrete? That would explain why the underside of the Gardiner is such a mess but most of the Brutalist buildings are doing just fine.

8 King St E (exterior restoration, KingSett Capital, ERA Architects)

Not looking like there's anything visible. In street view from up close you can see much of the interior. Views from across the street show office space directly above, which I'd imagine means the banking hall was filled in to create another level of space https://goo.gl/maps/qitYQY7MXfugF3ds8
