That upper glass covering the transfer slab just makes this building look a thousand times more finished and we aren't even at a third yet

The yellow tool you were seeing is a compaction tester there is a steak that is driven into the ground on the side of the machine that registers the density of the ground below

    Toronto Y&S Condos | 130.77m | 38s | Tribute | Graziani + Corazza

Something I learned from talking on the sky Tower thread is luffing cranes are much slower than a hammerhead so could have been due to site constraints they needed to use that crane till they reached the podium and could switch to a hammerhead

Looks like one beam left to be tied and then they can start on the floor layout

    Toronto 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I feel like with the way the organization and communication has gone on with this project we will probably find out if we're going to 91 when they pour the 85th floor
  14. C

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Yeah but sky Tower has done about four floors in the time that the mechanical floor is still under construction we're currently at floor 26 here I think and floor 58 at the one so if sky grid doesn't maintain the one floor a week pace it is foreseeable that this building could beat it to 85
  15. C

    Toronto The Pemberton | 215.79m | 68s | Pemberton | a—A

So do we want to say which happens first Crane comes down at 11YV or Pemberton hits ground level

  18. C

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

And there are those beautiful hangers RCS has really picked up pace though will be interesting to see what happens when they get to the next mechanical floor
  19. C

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

It would appear that we have completed the pour for the second level of the mechanical floor so we should be seeing them beginning to move mechanical fixtures into place before beginning forming for the next floor then I imagine we will see you pace pick up those sky grid may take abit to get up...

    Vaughan CG Tower | 188.97m | 60s | Cortel Group | BDP Quadrangle

It would appear that we have gotten to height on this tower which is awesome with it and festival coming into Vaughn south on the 400 is an absolutely imposing view especially since I find a lot of the buildings in this cluster better looking than most of Toronto
