Not to be annoying, but here's another follow-up from the Vancouver SkyTrain Broadway Extension.
Posted at SSP today - here you can see tunnel segments being installed in the Mt. Pleasant Station pit.
The tail of the TBM in the background is still in the station.
The TBM is moving from right...
In Coquitlam outside Vancouver, T&T is going into a free-standing former HBC Home Outfitters store. If there's an empty Home Oufitters or future empty Bed, Bath or Beyond near Sherway Gardens, then they could take that space.
I'm curious why the two towers have different slab edges at the roof and how the cladding will be finsihed up there.
It looks like the flush concrete may remain exposed, painted or clad with a flashing?
Just adds to the oddities around the cladding.
Yeah, I thought the standard is about 7 floors behind to allow the concrete to properly cure?
I think the cladding looks okay - there's a consistency to it. I like symmetry.
WOW!
It has a finished ceiling above the platform AND tracks!
That's impressive.
Usually you see bare space with everything unfinished or painted black above the tracks.
For one, Oakridge is off the list as it has been almost completely demolished for redevelopment,
so that would bump Square One up a notch!

What's the building in back with the peaked roof and dormer windows?
Almost looks like a church.
Edit: From Google streetview from behind the Chelsea Inn.

The white metal panels are going to stand out a lot next to the warmer / concrete tones of the surrounding buildings (1 Bloor West, 2 Bloor West and Manulife Centre)
