It's an ex[propriation. Exactly. There's a process. The fact it's an expropriation means that it wasn't voluntarily sold - so the starting point is their opposition to selling. Of course they are going to complain.

At least the boxes in the aisles means they are turning over stock. Large grocers do that at nighttime, so chances are, they are doing it during retail hours to minimize overtime/overworking by the staff (family run?).

I hope they don't paint the whole building blue.
