The machine that installed the glass is also back. Is the panel getting replaced?

Casa Condos (Cresford Developments) - Real Estate -

There aren’t. The building directly south (Children's Aid Society) was built with Casa and is connected. Further south are existing residential towers on Isabella which aren’t going anywhere. Even further south there’s the development at Yonge and Gloucester but that’s quite far away. This is a...

It’s too bad this project hasn’t gotten more attention on here. The glass being used is very high quality and looks great. WZMH does excellent work. Picture from today:

What a garbage piece, exactly what I’d expect from a rag like the Toronto Star. Of course no mention of the fact that 2 Bloor East will be redeveloped. Same for 2 Bloor West’s podium. Mentions retailers leaving along Bloor (these will be replaced by new tenants). Refers to 1 Bloor East as a...

Not all of these sold out, high rise units were still available for sale last year for around $2000psf. Mizrahi is also probably hoping for the height increase so those additional units can be sold as well, surely above $2000psf.

Oh please. Apple Upper West Side in NYC is across the street from The Gap. If anything the 1 Bloor West site is better than west of Bay, as it gets more foot traffic.

The project will be using a self climbing protection canopy system from Doka.

This is an absolute disaster if Apple leaves. I hope this is not the case.

Sidewalk already feels wider with the imposing concrete staircase now removed.

Lots of workers around but no pouring going on as of right now. Edit; workers say no pour happening

Hopefully they reclad the office tower, tear down the RBC and do something else there, and do something with the giant ugly wall stretching to the W hotel. Glass like Manulife Centre maybe? A new addition entirely would be a cherry on top.

Well … recladding could go great. I would be pleased if they reclad the office tower. Brookfield's recladding of First Canadian Place was excellent. Although obviously I think we all want to see something done with the rest of the complex.

Someone call the firemen back to the site. Good vantage point for a hose.

I was hoping the concrete pour would block the idiotic ‘freedom’ protests from parading down Bloor today but alas.

    Toronto 15 Charles East | 216m | 66s | Republic | Arcadis

IBI really copy-and-pasting their 8 Wellesley design here. It’s nice though, but a bit disappointing to see two similar looking towers in a similar area with just the colour changed. Although, it’s certainly more interesting than the other buildings on Charles E.
