Concord’s best project yet… oh wait.

George Hislop Park, Norman Jewison Park and Alexander Street Parkette

For 2 years now, George Hislop Park has been inaccessible. The park remains closed and fenced off under the guise of park improvements (which aren’t occurring). The park remains accessible to tents however. An absolute failure on the City’s behalf.

Another garbage Concord project. Truly the worst large developer in the city.

    Toronto 2 Bloor West Podium Redevelopment | ?m | 2s | KingSett Capital | WZMH

I am disappointed the rendering does not look like the previous one posted by ProjectEnd.

    Toronto 33 Isabella | 25.3m | 4s | Cromwell | IBI Group

Grading being done outside the old building. Also more balconies have been painted? Not sure if they’re painting all them but it would look a lot better.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Accessible … for the price of $50m for the penthouse owner ;). Although it would have been cool if they had chosen to put something up there open to the public (observation deck, bar, or restaurant maybe).

More formworks being delivered today. They’re much larger up close than I thought! No sign of any structural steel delivery yet.

I think the cladding partially covers the glass. So I think the curtain wall has to be installed first. There was a post awhile back. https://urbantoronto.ca/news/2019/10/exclusive-preview-one’s-exterior-finishes

Super deep stations are seen in other places too. Singapore has many, a lot deeper than Toronto’s stations. It’s not that bad as long as the escalators work.

Sheraton Centre (123 Queen West, new windows & exterior repairs)

Around 10 construction workers were working on the pool / rooftop today. They’ve started working on it for quite some time now. I’ll try to get a pic next time.

Okay. Now it’s bad. They seriously looked at that and though it was okay?

The blank wall would be great with a mural especially in this neighbourhood. Even pride flag colours would be cool. Compared to some other blank walls side walls I can think of *cough* this is much better.

    Toronto Ontario Line: Pape Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

Sidewalks are too narrow, people complain. Now the sidewalk is huge and you call it offensive. There really is no winning on this forum I guess.
