    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Only the (non Blue Night) Finch routes (36, 39/939) need to stop at the bus terminal. 97F doesn't need to serve Finch; it only does so because Finch is a current line 1 terminus. 42 and 125 can interline/merge and stop at Cummer/Drewry.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The corridor passes much closer to Sunnybrook Park stop than Science Centre station, although Science Centre has the Ontario Line.

    139-141 Sheppard East (?, 2s, ?)

Look on the positive, it can be easily demolished, rezone/rebuilt when demands come.

They had a page - albeit not a very informative one. Seems like it was removed last time they revamped their website.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

NYCC and SCC want to be Toronto's "Buckhead", but I guess the timing was off? With the recession and the amalgamation.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

They were boring the tunnels anyways. They only part that would have driven up costs significantly are the additional Consumer Road and Victoria Park stations.

TTC Fleet Procurement Strategy - 2022

Metrolinx will be the one placing the order, based on what we've seen for Finch West and Eglinton.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Unless the area becomes as dense (population and jobs) as downtown, people who live there will continue to drive; doesn't mean they won't touch transit ever, just that they will do both. Their daily lives aren't limited to a 2km radius.

Metrolinx: Sheppard East LRT (In Design)

Yonge to Bayview - lack of a Willowdale station and NIMBYism. Bayview to Leslie - it did change and is still changing. Leslie to Don Mills - parkland and lack of street facing lots. Sheppard in Scarborough (west of McCowan) actually has more street facing lots and thus more redevelopment...

Metrolinx: Sheppard East LRT (In Design)

Then they will run into the same problem the Scarborough RT had/has. The line will have to be closed for duration of the rebuilt. Don Mills also seems to be on top of a hill; Sheppard slopes down east and west of the station, so the incline needed to surface the line would probably be steeper...

Metrolinx: Sheppard East LRT (In Design)

They might have to launch a TBM anyways for the 404 crossing.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

If they do decide to extend line 4 eastward, it should go right to Agincourt in the first phase. No point launching in TBM for < 2 km.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

I remember the intent is to have separate inbound and outbound platforms. Trains will reverse on the tail tracks.

    Street Signs

That's a lazy way to do it. It probably corrupts the original design guideline. The neighbourhood customized designs should be on the top panel, where the city logo is. As in this: Source or this: Source

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

What I meant is for the U-turns be on the cross street, not Eglinton. If you want to turn left at Birchmount, you'd turn right and then make a U-turn on Birchmount; or maybe that also messes up the signal priority?

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Weren't there plans to add U-turns on the cross streets (smaller version of Michigan-left) to accommodate left turn removals?

    Metrolinx: Other Items (catch all)

Didn't realize this used to be a public street before the houses on it were expropriated.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Let's hope these road under rail crossings will have adequate/proper drainage, seeing how severe rainfall becomes more frequent events.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

They can do concurrency on three segments. 8 - from 401 to Conestoga (west) 85 - from 401 to Waterloo 7 - Victoria St. to Conestoga (west) It's not confusing if you are just following numbers. Approaching the 7 / 8 interchange from three directions: 7 / 8 WEST Stratford || 8 EAST / 85 SOUTH...

    Roads: Traffic Signals

This works well for jurisdictions that do not allow turns on red. A more basic set up would be 4 phases of advance green, with pedestrians getting the walk phases on crosswalks that do not conflict with moving traffic. That means, if you get a walk signal, no traffic will be in your way. Vice...
