Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

There is nothing wrong with having a subway on Sheppard, it's the priority that matters. Line 4's not a success if you compare with line 1 or 2, but is so if compared to metro lines in other parts of the world. As long as RL (and an extension) gets built, I don't mind a logical (my opinion)...

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

I suppose it doesn't work as well when/if some are already doing left turn onto curb lane?

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

A lot of the plans were not shortsighted, it's just we kept changing our priorities and rewriting plans. Remember relief line was once not wanted in downtown (by some councilors).

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

The private operators (all the JRs for example) do, as far I came to understand, the municipal owned agencies do not.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Buses are transit, so are LRTs, and also "subways". Miller failed on that because he went for an LRT-for-all plan - even for previously planned grade-separated corridor(s); coupled with having a bad salesperson team on Transit City.

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Have to understand who are living in those condos. They either work/go to school outside of downtown (905s), or they don't work and drive everywhere because their social life is not downtown or places easily accessible by current transit routes. The only way to have substantial ridership...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

I'm not sure what's there to shop at Don Mills and York Mills (perhaps you meant Don Mills/Lawrence), but that's why I am more supportive of OL/DRL using the GO ROW north of Lawrence rather than follow Don Mills. Don Mills/Sheppard is as arbitrary of a hub as STC. The GO ROW also goes past the...

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Line 4 extension to STC + OL extension the Sheppard, provides better coverage than just SSE. Cost may be comparable if they cheapen out on OL and uses the GO RH ROW. But like you said, because SSE is at an advanced planning stage, we don't really have a choice at this point.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Glad they are moving forward with this. There hasn't been any news since they submitted application early last year. Now that I checked, seems Metrolinx had updated the projects page with the project.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

If the purpose is to serve a local traffic pattern, then no. If it's to serve as a shuttle to Finch station, then yes. If majority of the ridership comes from mid-block locations, then no, and if it's from nodes at major arterials, then yes.

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

If TTC and YRT (non-viva) buses all use the rapidway, there couldn't be proper signal priority. They wouldn't be able to squeeze in any green phase for the cross streets.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Are LRVs generally heavier than HRVs? If so, it wouldn't be much of a conversion, but rather a vehicle change, from current HRVs to smaller ones. Maybe it can run on TTC gauge as well, so it can co-share yards with the other lines.

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

A RL+RH GO plan essentially is/was a RLNorth extension up to Lawrence, and then uses the existing tracks north from there. The entire route will have to be standard gauge.

(Some) GO station shelters already have this, and they are button operated and on a timer.

Almost, but not all. If there are benefits in using high floor vehicles, I don't see the need to follow the trend.

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Not cheaper if they need to take viva/YRT to Finch. Langstaff to Union $6.77 Richmond GO to Union $6.86 Gormley to Union $7.87 viva Blue to Finch to Union $3.88 + $3.25 = $7.13 Unless your trip originates from Gormley or Bloomington, it's cheaper with GO.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

If doing that, they might as well make it high platform. High-floor vehicles, more capacity. The ramps just have to be longer at the stop/station exit.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Was there a more recent poll done? The one I found with the tied numbers is from March, and that was around the time the lockdown began.

It does go further, west from Osgoode, and north from Pape station.

    2175 Sheppard Ave E (?,?,?)

That section of Sheppard is not the best cycling route, unless you have really strong legs. It has a similar issue (a bit much less) as the inclines at Hoggs Hollow. This elevation profile from Google maps illustrates that - a route from Yonge to Victoria Park, with Bessarion and 404 at each...
