They don’t need all the cute lighting if the building wasn’t all …GREY!? Maybe change up the permanent colour hue of glass used for podium & top of structure?? Would give this building more pop. Day & Night. Otherwise, nice looking edifice.

Exactly!! It’s fine. Aesthetically pleasing. Just move on to the next one. Keep finding new spaces & lots for more … Parks. Pedestrian streets. Public spaces. Promenades. Patios.

With another look, West 8 design is fine. It’s nice. It has its charm. But, I’d like to know from the city, what was wrong with oneSKY (PMA & SLA) design? It was obviously the popular standout design. Cost?

Yes. They look great. Not crazy about the cloudy tinted grey front windows, an amber-like tint would look nicer, to match side striping. But I’ll take it.

I f’ing love these buildings. Some on here, gave the designs thumbs down in early stages, but these 2 structures are perfect for Toronto’s parochial boring street scene vibe. They’re cool.

Agree. No doubt Arcadis‘ influence going forward, will be a significant improvement over IBI‘s mediocrity.

IBI/Arcadis best designed building so far. That merger seems like a good thing because IBI was severely lacking in style, ambition & design. The works.

Stick with brick Toronto. Red brick!! Even (dare I say) *grey brick is attractive. Unfortunate that it doesn’t go higher up. But nice.

It’s amazing the downgrade from previous plans. Almost criminal. It’s not even the lack of of well designed modern parks & public spaces squeezed in to these renderings, but the buildings themselves look pedestrian & boring, shocking to see for such a big project. Didn’t notice one stand out...

This could quite honestly be a stand out building aesthetically, if it didn’t get lost in the grey-blue monotonous horizon. Begging for any vibrant, radiant, bright splash of colour in Toronto’s skyline by these unreliable building pros. They don’t f’ing notice? Lol. Self awareness is always...
