RE: Parking Issue Just curious how you found out that you were given the wrong Parking Space. Did the builder actually tell you that the wrong parking space was assigned? Also, is the parking space that was suppose to be assigned to you still available or was it given to someone else? I...

Our move-in/closing date is March 21st and we were never contacted by Great Gulf or property management about any election for directors. Shouldn't they be including the 1/4 of the building residents that have not yet closed?

Yes, from the specs I have its going to be approx 35 inches high for the higher suites. My guess is it may be a little be shorter for the lower suites because of the space from the optional pull out table.

We are moving into our unit in March but I am not suprised that they want the occupancy payments for two months together. The occupancy payments have to be paid anyways, which is normal practice. As for the closing costs, I know in our agreement we capped the closing costs to a set amount. I...

Buying your own materials, and than spending a few hours working on it after moving in... not for me. I would rather just pay $500 to have it done before I even move in.. Also a builder overcharging for small upgrades is nothing new, its part of buying a new condo in downtown, unfortunately

I agree with you. My wife and I bought the Eames on the 43rd and the kitchen cabinets will make a big difference along with the 9ft ceilings. We too decided to invest in our unit my getting good upgrades that I do not see in the rental units pictures... I cant wait until March 21st!!

Agreed, some people may not be condo purchasers... but its the purchasers that can say whether they feel cheated or not. Myself being a purchaser in this building would have to say that even if the rendering did show the mech. floor on top the way its being built it would not deter me from...

Same could be said about a lot of buildings, ie Casa but construction was not as fast. Overall the project is very efficient. All of the kitchens from what I have been told have already been pre-constructed sitting in a warehouse somehere waiting to be installed.

Can anyone confirm whether the Couture building is now going to be around 30 stories instead of the original 44.

My fiance and I were at the Decor centre last week and I can tell everyone that the colour selection on the standard hardwood is excellent. Not sure if they are giving different choices to the higher floors. In terms of appliances the standard appliances look extremely cheap. We decided...
