Stupid question but are the new panels the ones where the blue is more pronounced?? (I assume so as the glass is more transparent allowing the blue sky to shine through?)

Agreed. I’m no expert but why don’t a lot of these buildings not have black blinds instead of the white ones that stick out like a sore thumb. Could be white on the inside but the external facing side should be black or a dark blue to blend in? Might be ugly or not practical but the current...

W Hotels are known for having a fairly prominent ‘W’ on the exterior. Either I can’t see it in that last photo or it hasn’t been put up yet. Anyone know?

So many reasons to love this project. One subtle thing for me is how the windows are slightly staggered and sloped. Clean yet with so much visual interest.

I think they went glazing to allow as much light in as possible to give it an airy market vibe and to provide contrast to the main market across the street.

Stunning wood. We need more of that in Toronto but I find the colour of the wood doesn’t go perfectly with that colour red. .

I love art but I’d prefer that the $25M they are seeking for the art go towards assuring we get that conditional footbridge (#6) making it easier to access the area from the waterfront.

The building on the right is being torn down correct and this development will continue all the way east to 88 College? That is how the renderings look.

Looks like John Street is completely blocked? Is this part of the John Street corridor revitalization ? I can’t seem to find the thread for that project here on UT?

That is above the subway line. Nothing has ever been developed there to my knowledge.
