That shot is taken from the rounhouse park, which isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Caltrane, did you go for a ride on one of the little trains?

They've finished one corner of the climbing scaffold and removed the scaffolding they used to build it. It's quite an amazing structure when you see it in person. It will look incredible sliding up the side of FCP.

It's been pretty dead, and I think the hole digger that was on site is working on ice. However in the last few days some yellow metal has appeared and I actually saw someone in a pick up pulling into there this morning.

Actually I walked along Adelaide the other day just to check it out. It is going to have a huge impact on that area, which always seemed kind of open and barren before. It's going to create an impressive streetwall and really change the feel of that intersection.

Here's a pretty crappy one until someone with a real camera gets out there again. This is the south end of the site, and they're working on the 3rd floor right now. Taken 5 minutes ago.

Those look like test panels, not permanent.

Thanks for the pic. Those trees in front of MLS must have been planted some time today. I walked by there at about 7am and the planters were empty then.

+1 The addition of the large underground parking lots under Ritz/RBC have more than replaced the loss of those surface lots. Not to mention Telus and MLS have parking, plus parking at the Sobey's at Montage, and the convention centre, lots on QQ, Bank of America, Metro Hall. There is an...

An otherwise dull shot unless you have a hoarding fetish.

They are only shoring up to the edge of the small parking lot, I think this pretty much confirms that they are only excavating for the condos at this time. But they are moving fast on this one, three hole diggers (sorry for the technical terms) working and they appear to be at least 50% done on...

Good coverage. I was wondering what the tents were for when I walked past this morning, and as usual I get to my desk and Urban Toronto has the answer.

Taken on my way home last night. Another parking lot gone, fantastic! Taken on my way to work today, removing the billboards.

Some pics taken this morning showing the activity at the Ice site. Here's one taken from the Roundhouse park showing both Infiniti and Ice. These two were taken from just beside the Ice showroom.

I for one am glad that we didn't end up with 100% employment there. Why would you want an area like that. Bay and King aren't exactly hopping at 9pm. I don't know what the best mix of residential vs. employment is, but the four corners of York and Bremner are coming closer to the ideal than...

Excluding of course 18 York, Telus and all the office space in MLS.
