Those last 2 photos show how brutally ugly they are at street level. How this passed by the DRP is a mystery.

Personally, i don't see this view as something i would go out of my way to sit and look at for the afternoon. To each his own though.

I guess we won't be hearing much from you for a while. It doesn't sound like much action on this site until next year.

The street presence of the taller tower is pretty abysmal. It's more suited for a lane way, out of the view of any main thoroughfare.

A followup to the construction shutdown, i did find this exerpt from an article yesterday, i guess we will find out later today. Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams is said to have recommended that cabinet shut down all non-essential construction, warehousing operations and...

There is a good chance we all may have to be happy looking at these photos, with no updates for a while. We'll see after tomorrows press conference. It has been noted construction may be stopped, except necessary infrastructure work. I assume the One wouldn't be included.

Either that's not the case anymore, or they couldn't be bothered waiting for a salvage company to do...

The article mentions 74 and 84 storey towers. The height on U.T. indicates 72 and 82. That would indicate the heights have changed, i.e. higher.

It sounds promising. Recommend acceptance from the solicitor to avoid an LPAT hearing. I'm sure most of us forgot about this one, and it shouldn't have taken this long to come to a conclusion.

Reminds me of the potential reflective problem like the Walkie Talkie sky scraper in London a few years ago. Although not concave, there could be some issues, depending on materials used...
