For those individual storefronts bikelanes will be detrimental to business but for denser property like malls along the street it will be quite beneficial for most of the year. Commercial property tax accounts for around 51% of government revenue so I'm sure it's in the city's interest to phase...

Two more food court units have started renovations making 11/14 of the units there filled. No word as to what food they will do yet. Thank you

I don't know if this has been brought up before but why do people think a bikelane is good for anything when almost half the year Toronto is covered in snow, ice or rain? Yes you just might solve the issue during mid spring to late fall but once the rain, snow and ice hits the ground the bikes...

The food court units with a door to the outside can open until whenever. However all these units are taken save for some very small tiny units. The rest are towards the inside and are very large meaning big maintenance fees and rent. I wouldn't say rent is an issue for Smoke's, that storefront...

It will be more inconvenient during winter times. The tunnel saves you from having to cross the horrendous traffic of that part of Yonge street. I don't see the tunnel bringing much traffic here because like amnesiajune said there are already 8 entrances. The subway "gate" the tunnel leads to...

Looks like the food court is attracting some tenants to the mall. The Oulahen's have managed to lease 3 units near the food court to an Emerald Pharmacy & Rehab. Interesting how a rehab AND pharmacy can fit into 3 cubicle units. Perhaps they will have the rehab on the office floor? Building...

Ah gee this is real nice! Just hope they keep the silvery white glass. Who would had known a few more curves and shinier glass could turn a tombstone into a Luxury perfume bottle! Only if hullmark went with a bold design as well this intersection would had looked like it was from the space age!

Im talking about when there is glare from the sun or sky. When there is glare you can only see the sign if you are facing it directly. So people driving past and even walking by can miss the sign.

So far it looks like the yonge frontage stores are not allowed to have a highly visible outdoor sign. It looks like at best they will have to hide the sign behind the window which is not visible when there is glare. This is a very strange practice that I think we only see here.

They are moving from Sheppard Centre, that one is full all the time and they definitely need more space. The Canada Post might also move here to one of the Yonge units. Progress. You can see how big 3000 sq ft is going to be: All that extra square footage from demolishing the walls, probably...

Suites I don't know. The foodcourt has taken off really fast, there are only 5 units left out of 14. The cubicle retail is very very slow to rent out. In the past month we have only seen 1 more dry cleaner opening making it a total of 3 cubicle retail stores filled out of 40-50ish. The rumored...

Today the water pipes in the ceiling burst. I was wondering why it felt so humid. Started hearing this water gushing sound thought it was construction but on my way out i see water coming out of the ceiling in the food court. If you hurry now you can still see it.

Awwww yea. Also new food court restaurant beside the Nana has started renovations. They added a lot of rail lighting to food court. Food court is almost full now with 9/14 units rented out. Retail units have been slow to rent out however with the hair salon bailing probably from the sewage pump.

It's pretty hilarious because even if they were to tow the car the length of the tow truck plus car probably would make it impossible to turn out of the parking levels to the surface.

I don't know man! Saving 200k+ on an average Vancouver home by buying in Toronto is a pretty big incentive!
