I was referring to the Provincial Government in which we are in Q4 of Budget 2017 for the Fiscal Year Ending 31 March 2018.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

Vehicles for ION aren't really an issue anymore. There's a bunch of them parked in Kingston essentially waiting for the OK to ship from the Region of Waterloo

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

You are ignoring the fact that induced demand is a direct result of reduced congestion. It doesn't matter what you do to reduce congestion you will always have induced demand when you do it. The difference between induced demand when widening a highway and induced demand from the congestion...

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

They've been running in the cold for months in Kingston too.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

No Company --- including Alstom, SIEMENS, CAF, Skoda and other streetcar makers --- will meet standards 100%. It is an impossible expectation. When you make a requirement for flashing lights and push buttons on the doors you are opening yourself up to door issues. Having the expectation that...

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

they have lately been testing from around 10 AM - 2 PM on weekdays. That might change in a few weeks as testing progresses.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

The speeds they are still doing aren't very useful to tune signals tbh.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

They're not really comparable vehicles though... the Alstom one ordered is 48m long while the Felity Freedom they ordered is 30m long. Had Metrolinx changed to a 7-module variant of the Flexity it would be more comparable.

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

They actually wrote on the slide "(Oct-Dec)" as Q4

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

Your statement that the congestion reduction claims are a "fallacy" is categorically false. New transit lines have a person moving capacity far exceeding what the traffic lanes are capable of at any given point in time. They don't fail to reduce congestion, in fact they are often resoundingly...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

When we talk about Government Fiscal Years we are actually in Q4 2017

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

Running HFR through the London-Woodstock-Brantford-Hamilton-Toronto corridor makes no sense. CN would be forced to retake the Guelph Sub from Metrolinx, or Metrolinx would be forced to build an entirely new corridor for CN in order for CN to run it's freight trains on a decent enough schedule to...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

Sure there are tracks there... Whether they are finished or not is another story.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

In their own right the Bombardier trains are performing better than regional officials expected. I have full confidence they will perform as well as or better than the Alstom trains.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

There's maybe 1 vehicle left at this point in the manufacturing stage. the rest are all going through testing there. 501 was sent back at the beginning of the month to be completed and should be also going through testing by now.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

The Region has told Bombardier to hold off on deliveries until Grandlinq is ready for them.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

You can blame Metrolinx for this inclusion tbh

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

They'd be shipping incomplete cars then. Most of the cars that are stockpiled up there are missing a few parts from one or more third party suppliers.
