    Cinecity, in the former Postal Station F building at Yonge & Charles, was a bit of an Art House and I think the screen was downstairs though I'm not 100% certain.

    Simpson's updated their escalators in the 70's. The refurbishment included an angled stainless steel skirt panel which afforded a view up any woman's skirt. oops!

    I recall, shortly after they were built, that the CBC did a special on organized crime in Toronto and implied that this development was built with Triad financing. I thought that was very exotic and exciting!

    The Grand Duchess Olga has an impressive monument in York Cemetery. Her story is quite fascinating. Very close-by is the resting place of Tim Horton while Barbara Frum seems to have some sort of sunken court nearby. Worth a visit.
