    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

Some great photos. It would be really cool if there were live music/buskers/games congregating near the benches area. That street is nice but could use some more programming. Paris-style!

    Toronto U of T: Academic Wood Tower | 77m | 14s | U of T | Patkau

imagine Toronto's architectural vernacular moves from bland glass to bland wood. That would at least give my eyes a break haha.

Toronto Bathurst Quay Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini

Although beautiful, it's too stuffy and conservative. Plus it feels tiny. Not much counterculture or an art scene (despite its musical and culturally rich history whose impact is still felt, I feel like it's become more hallowed out). Doesn't appeal to me as a young artist but can tolerate it...

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

They loved the concept and really felt like it would fit into this development. Is exactly what the team at Mirvish was looking for. Either than that I don’t have any updates.

    Toronto Regent Park: Phases 4 and 5 | 134.1m | 39s | Tridel | Karakusevic Carson Architects

I think we all will wake up in a very different Toronto pretty soon with all of these kinds of renewal projects. Love to see how our city is changing, and how oftentimes neighbouring developments get inspired or pushed to create more thoughtfully designed communities and builds.

    Toronto Regent Park: Phases 4 and 5 | 134.1m | 39s | Tridel | Karakusevic Carson Architects

I know so many artists (musicians, performers, rappers, actors) that have become so successful, as well as people in my circle that grew up in these few apartment blocks in Regent. While i'm not sad to see these manhattan-style 'projects' go in exchange for beautiful Danish buildings...

    Toronto's Culture Production Boom

I called open studio yesterday - as a printmaker the loss of this would be devastating. There is nowhere else in TO to print with a membership.

    Vaughan Festival Condominiums | 189.05m | 59s | Menkes | Arcadis

I had some family visiting from Alberta, and they were quite blown away by the cluster of high-rises in these centres surrounding Toronto, while flying into Pearson. They are not used to seeing many tall towers outside of downtown Calgary and on this scale. Had to remind them that the greater...

    Zoning Reform Ideas

I think geary is going to be the next Ossington. I was recently in the artsy Bushwick neighbourhood in Brooklyn, NY and it had a lot of similarities to Geary. Very ugly but part of the charm.

Love this overall but jheez looking at the renders this solidifies to me that the East-enders really need to step up their fashion game 😂 okay.. Leslieville is the exception.

    Toronto Parliament Slip | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | West 8

Also - i'm not sure I am loving the canopy around the pools, blocking the view of the pool from the waterfront promenade. It seems like a barrier and this portion of the proposal looks kind of drab from a design standpoint.

God man I really hope so! I was really afraid that it would just turn into a school, which was contemplated as an option for the site. We could really use something cultural here to attract people here.

    Toronto Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

**I know someone who just signed a lease in one of the heritage homes for this site** All I can say is that it sounds very artsy, fun and hip and similar concepts have been very popular in cities like NY and London. Seems like it will be a first for Toronto. My lips are sealed but I want to be...

OOH. I like however I don't like that there is parking. This is not a thing in Europe, time to shift away from any car dependence.
