?? CN is doing the passing tracks on their own segments of track, stations are in procurement (as outlined in this thread). Metrolinx helped plan the service, ONTC is executing the various contracts to get it done. All is on schedule so far.

I’m 99% sure it deadheads back to Lewis Yard In Hamilton, someone correct me if I’m wrong. Metrolinx intends to build a layover space for a single train in Niagara Falls, procurement should happen this year. I’m sure that would include shore power.

A little birdie told me that part of this deal, in terms of demands from the infrastructure owner, includes grade separating every road crossing. When that’s considered, $6.2 billion makes a bit more sense. Would love if someone could confirm this too.

I don't think CPKC is interested in phasing the work, or that Metrolinx gets to pick and choose this stuff. My understanding is if upgrades are happening, its the whole thing now or nothing.

The Richmond Hill Corridor needs to be shifted slightly north near the USRC to accommodate the Ontario Line and portal. I assume this has an impact on the corridor further north and the utilities.

Both tracks will be through tracks at West Harbour.

A while back Metrolinx stated that the current "SmartTrack" station names are placeholders. Hopefully we get "Liberty Village".
