Do any of you Union experts have spare time to spend ... in the Great Hall? May I please mention that the Travellers’ Aid desk requires volunteers for 4 hours a week to help visitors find their way in Union Station and Toronto. If you haven't time yourself, consider retweeting my two-part...

Has anyone mentioned that the east corridor of the VIA Concourse has re-opened? The side channel that leads to the so-called Arrivals area, a.k.a. the Front St Promenade. Also of note is the re-appearance of a water fountain in the VIA Concourse, near the gents' loo.

    Vaughan Centre Bus Terminal

Ridership inside appears weak... it’s still closed. The curbside, unprotected stop for the 20 and 26 was pretty busy though, as young people were headed to Vaughan Mills and Wonderland yesterday evening. I happened to go up for a look, and now understand that the tardy terminal is to open in...

They have been closing off the stairs from the "Carriageway" [the new moat walkway] down to the east moat [and the connected doors to the subway] in order to erect more of the moat cover. How long has that been happening and have the stairs been opened during rush hours?

And yet the Bay East Teamway is on there. Not sure how hard York West Teamway is to display -- connect it to the EW Skywalk route, just next to the UP station, no? If there is a way to interact with the mapmakers I bet that's over on the PATH thread...

Does anyone remember where the green and white globes were? ( I’ve posed the question on Twitter too.)

Hey, just a reminder to self and anyone else listening. One way to appreciate the platform we are using [for free] is to occasionally click on interesting-looking ads. Anyhoo, back to our usual programming. One of the slots along the row of VIA kiosks is so narrow it seems like an afterthought...

Several wickets — at least one— have a space that looks expressly designed to hand over cases. It certainly seems a long time since they were used as intended... though there may be an intention to get the belt running again. (BTW, I don’t presume to have 100% accuracy but I have spent many...

I thought the belt runs behind the VIA staff in the Great Hall, or did I imagine it was like an airport check-in? Whether it is used or not is another story.

Do you know what is suddenly uncovered? The windows just north of the Baggage desk -- they show the conveyor belt down from the VIA ticket windows. Not sure I've ever seen what's behind those windows. Thing is, how many VIA trains per week accept bags for handling?

I don't feel very comfortable using it either, but "Arrivals" area seems more wrong every day. And "Directly beneath the Travellers' Aid booth" really only works if you're standing at the booth... "York St Promenade"? Yuk. But I don't have better nomenclature.

The access “To City” — to the Front Street Promenade — via the east side corridor of the VIA Concourse is now closed in favour of the west corridor. Users can now head to TTC by going past Baggage again. Here’s a query to ponder: is there any longer a reason to refer to [the] area below the...

Aye, the Panorama! I wonder if there are any pics online. I had been trying to jog my memory with old diagrams but methinks I'm barking up a proverbial wrong tree...
