Did anyone get charged a service activation fee for their internet? ($14.95)? I was under the impression that with the promotion, all activation fees would be waived...

I JUST got a notice saying that people will be coming in the next few days to fix the big gouge they left on my floor when they installed my fridge - and any other flooring deficiencies I had... I've been here for about a month now and nothing else has been done... judging by the comments in...

Sometimes - but that could be because whoever's above me was walking with heels on hardwood floor. I did hear someone's Classical music playing the other day which surprised me because normally other than hallway and stairway noise, I don't hear anything - person must've had the music really...

Your balcony is technically not under your ownership so you can't make any deficiency claims on it.

Is anyone else finding that the bath water is cold? I left a message with customer care but haven't gotten any response at all :( Friends have told me that that's pretty common with new buildings - they keep the water temperature low until the building is more closer to full occupancy in order...

You can be pretty sure that until it says "CONFIRMED Occupancy Date" that the date will change again. Then again, as happened to many of us here, even when you get the "Confirmed Occupancy Date" there is a chance that it may change even still (but usually by the time you get a "Confirmed...

Ack! Really? I've put a lock on it, but I don't know how to stop it from showing up :( Any advice? Thanks!

I'm in M1 and my A/C is working okay so far (knock on wood).... set to 23 and I have it on auto - although I noticed that on Saturday it wasn't shutting off after hitting 23 - it just kept going and going so I turned it off and let some fresh air in since it was cool. It's working fine today...

None here either. *Knocks on wood too. Hope it gets straightened out - I see the super going between M1 and M2 all the time, see if you can get a hold of him (older gent, very nice and helpful) to come take a look

Has anyone gotten an air purifier for their place? I've only been in for about 3-4 days but the dust is really getting to me and I'm starting to feel it in my lungs - was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good brands or places to get them from? Thanks for any help you can give!

I have a general question to those who've moved in for a while now and still have outstanding deficiencies: Have you gone ahead and put up furniture, area rugs, etc; even if it blocks access to the green tape marker left from your PDI? Eg: I have several minor scratches and chips on my wall...

I'd say most of my unit is 9ft (minus the bathroom - 8ft) - hallway, kitchen, living/dining & bedroom - although part of the living/dining room has this bulkhead jutting out for about 1/4 of the ceiling space...

I have 9ft ceilings and the bathroom is 8ft - yes, they used 1ft for the wiring & pipes etc; there. Here are a couple of pics: Hope that helps!

Will do. I got my keys today and did some minor moving in. Was really disappointed to see that pretty much NOTHING was fixed from my PDI - only a couple of paint touch ups so far :( I can deal with waiting 120 days for them to fix the minor scratches and touch ups, but I had really hoped that...

Yes, that's correct - the 'rent' should be the total of the 3 costs you mentioned. I'm not sure if they rent lockers, but there probably are still some left for sale. I'm not really sure who you could call... Property management? Or the Sales Office? Cable, Internet, Phone & Mail should all be...

Had my PDI last week. For the most part there were no major issues - and the plans haven't changed. The biggest problem was that they gouged into my hardwood flooring when they were installing my fridge, and I had one cabinet that was peeling on the inner side (much like in the picture someone...

I've called Bell (since I was already using them currently) but unfortunately they don't have service in our building. This was also confirmed at my PDI last week - only Rogers service in both buildings for now...

Thanks Joe for your PDI run-down list. Glad to hear there was no real major problems. Though I am disappointed to hear about the low ceilings in the bathroom - I also have 9ft ceilings... you'd think they'd have at least 8 in there. I wonder why? Looking forward to the pics! Good luck with...
