listening to the live meetings that were held i got the impression Metrolinx was talking to tenants as well not just the landowners, so I believe they are getting assistance in relocation as well, and were informed around the same time as the actual landowners.

I was scared the design would just become super boring but this has promise! I think I still like the original design better but that might change with new renders. I also hope they stick with the bold colours!

pretty likely, though the community wouldn't be too happy about that either, and would likely fight against it

displacements of entire ethnic groups out of a city and negotiating with 20 businesses max to help them relocate is not the same thing, and it honestly just shows that you don't actually understand what actually happened in Halifax and the social, racial, socioeconomic, and deeply personal...

Thanks, I might try that! I already have line 5 just about done all I need to do is add the station names and rearrange other station names. The ontario line is also mostly done as well as the sse, though I still need to get line 6 on there first

Thanks! Kinda sad the rainbow Union had to go but i agree it is more legible now. Thanks for the help!

Understandable. I think because the don mills alignment would still serve that employment is (maybe not as well) and because of the extra density along with don mills, i still think it would be the better alignment. Also idk how I'd feel about planning this kind of infrastructure around the bus...

I'm hoping it's gonna be a sticker they smack on for no reason like the ttc logos on the wayfinding posts

Sorry bout the double post but do you think the white font makes things more legible?

Thanks for the feedback! I think I may mess around with some strokes behind the GO station names to make the m more legible but otherwise yea I think white may be a better option. If I can make the station names more legible i don't think I'll have to move the milton line as that could mess up...

I said this sometime last week but just from experience, I don't think there's anyone direction a majority of riders at Kennedy go. The largest share after the subway is def the set, and then I would have to say probably one of the many Eglinton east busses, followed by busses headed north, then...

AHH idk had New England on my mind ig lol! Thanks, i agree Clearview looks really clean here I'm hoping the TTC adopts it for their maps as Metrolinx has stated they want to use it in all of their wayfinding.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I've been working on a redesign of the subway and streetcar map to include GO services for a while now, and I think I finally have a finished version of the present-day map. I am very much looking for feedback so if you have any suggestions...

I like the concept though I think the city would greatly benefit from some more higher-order transit. Three grade-separated line does not seem like anywhere near enough. Also steeles feels pretty left out 😮 I like your waterfront link from Downsview to OConnor a lot though

Why do they go slow in intersections... to avoid collisions.

Forget a car actually hitting a train, think of how much slower a train or a bus has to go to make sure a car doesn't hit them. Pretty much all disadvantages of non grade-separated transit stem from the dangers of sharing spaces with cars.

I agree if the building's gonna be so all I think it needs a little bit more personality. Also yea the office portion needs to be slimmer, or have the same finish as the rest of the tower or something. It's just not working for me It would take the lobby to the next level. I already find it...

    Toronto 212 King Street West | 250m | 80s | Dream Office | SHoP

those were the two parts I disagree with. Though the design is very streamlined and simple it definitely not boring but I get that that's subjective, and apparently, only half the panel thought it was boring so. And also I kinda get the idea that it's this tall for no particular reason but I...

I mean reading through that I agree with most of their concerns. I really love the overall design of the building, though I definitely think the design needs some more work before it can make such a dramatic impact on the skyline. The shorter part of the tower just looks a little out of place to...
