An LCBO employee told me yesterday that their Galleria Mall location would be closing in June and move to the Dufferin mall. The closest place to get booze in the area will then be the Food Basics at the base of Fuse Condos - and the neighbourhood breweries of course. Also, interior alterations...

Interesting. I work in one of the buildings facing the courtyard in the above picture - it was renovated last Summer with new benches, light fixtures, and trees; the public art was also fixed up. The courtyard sits on top of the underground parking lot which I think is part of the DF Tower.

I've been waiting to see this for so long! I wonder if the old warehouse is still there, covered by the red metal siding. If that's the case, it could be an interesting conversion and podium for a new building - add add some character back to that stretch. Source...

Not much, the Tdot Tumblers have moved to the Stockyards, and the Planet Fitness is moving into some of the now empty spaces in the mall, somewhere around the central plaza I think. I overheard an LCBO employee saying they'll start demo of the west end of the mall in April; the city has issued...
